warcraft 3........only had a copied version of it so couldnt play multiplayer but its one of the best strategy games out there.

Warcraft 3 is relatively an easy game cause it depends how well you use your hero
in warcraft 2 you had to think.....cause heroes in older warcrafts didn't have much hp and atack

dota is easy if youre vsing a bunch of noobs... you really get owned if the opposing team really knows what theyre doing and how theyre putting their teamwork into play

yeah i know that but mostly it depends how good can you play with a hero(and what equipment you have)

DotA and Skill...you see if someone skilled if he kill his own units and kill the units exactly with the last hit (like me :Hahaha:) and you are godlike if you are able to kill your own friendheroes if they are near to dead so that the enemy doesn't get money :hahaha:

I used to play DOTA alot, but only with a few friends...I ended up getting pwned often, until I found the hero I was good at.

Well DOTA is a skill based game and you need to already know what the character you picked skills are and how to work them the right way. As alot of DOTA players play it on single player so that they know what character to pick and how to use him correctly.
Its a skill and knowledge based game as you need before hand knowledge to do really good. you can play well with out practice but I'm talking about the player thats are insanely good at the game, they wipe the floor with me as I play different games on warcraft 3.

I remember first time I played Dota.
One week LAN party with 9 other friends. Day after day and night after night spent playing Dota. It's much about items but it's all about how well a team can play together. The more people play the harder it gets.
And it was also about luck. We were playing only all-random.

Firstful, DotA IS A TEAMPLAY game. There are a lot of different strategies and tips to know.
But if you are a newbie and you will start to play DotA or Heroes of Newerth, you should be to prepare has endure be owned and flame. Firstfull you should know each spell of heroes, synergy of skills etc...
