Bah you can always get Real Alternative ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) or you can always go with VLC ([Only registered and activated users can see links]). If you use Linx and another os VLC is your better bet ^^

Please do not convert vcd videos to rmvb if you do not like scaled movies. I can live with divx/xvid movies compress to 1gb. and not 1gb converted to 300mb rmvb.:omgnooo:

vlc can't render the video of rmvb files, your better off with TCMP ([Only registered and activated users can see links])

rmvb is a the format that real player uses.

you can download the k-lite mega codec pack and you will get the necessary codec's and players to watch them.

the best players go get for it if you don't want to get real media player is.

windows media player classic
The core media player (TCMP)

VLC won't render the video in rmvb files though so don't get it if all you want to do iis play rmvb files.

well thank you but TCMP is not free, so I stick with real alternative for rmvb and vlc for avi and dvd videos only.

tmcp is free.

it uses a freeware license

the money you spend on it is a one time thing for a life time if you choose to do that, which you don't have to do anyway.

it is 100% free, the rest is just a donation that allows you extra functionality with in the program. but that functionality isn't anything you absolutely have to have.

well do not try to convert rmvb to avi if you do not know but you can try easy video converter which is a shareware but it could translate rmvb to avi and mpg.
