Is AIR GEAR still going?

I havent found anything beyond the 25 episode. Did it get the ax?
Personally it was very dissapointing to begin with, being as how I got started on the comic version. I kept watching it, hoping it wold get better, but it didnt.

the anime was awesome, (especially the soudtrack) I guess the manga is still going it goes farther then the anime so read it if your unsatisfied with the anime ending (as most resonable people would be) - the plot sorta derails and falls into anouther dimension though....

I watched the anime first. Compared to the manga, I only saw slight deviations of the plot from the first few chapters, but it wasn't that significant of a change. Some of the cuts they made were necessary since they weren't planning on making it as long as naruto or bleach. I've seen worse ways to end a good anime show based on a manga, anyone remember Gantz's ending? Made me wanna throw up. Oh and don't get me started on Claymore..

Its an old anime by now, even if they are releasing it in America now, I doubt it'd gain the momentum for a second series. Oh well, just follow the manga.

how many chapter of manga have you watched? in my opinion the manga is far better than the anime... Ikki crave a new path in order to beat the Sky King...
