Naruto Shippuuden. Disappointing?

Original Naruto series, fan-fucking-tastic couldn't stop watching it, fights scenes amazing, story line brilliant, characters ORGASM!!!! :41:
BUT
now shippuuden has rolled around, anyone else a little disappointed?
I mean when it finally looks like a fight is about to break out, they have close up of faces of everyone within 100miles of the area (little over exaggerated but owell) and also...

When a fight finally starts, yes, they are pretty damn amazing but some have a abrupt, unsatisfying ending for example the fight betweenNaruto and Orochimaru, I would of quite liked to see Naruto beat more than 7 shades of shit out of him:naruto_venere:

because I got so bored of watching endless build ups and close ups of faces I decided to read the manga and OMG soooooo very much incredible stuff is about to happen. So anyone out there watching the anime and don't like reading manga (friend of mine detestes manga but he likes dubbed so he can fuck off) STICK WITH IT good stuff shall be rolling your way soon...ish, hopefully. Anyone who is up to date with the manga knows what im talking about :twinkle::twinkle::twinkle:

I enjoy the new series. I do believe however that there is not enough fighting and far too many close ups of people's facial expressions.

It was disappointingly however, seeing Naruto come back after over 2 years of training only to know like one more jutsu and stabalize his shadow clone jutsu.

Can't wait for his special training though.

Well it's following the manga verbatim, except for showing kakuzu and hidan from akatsuki, which i think would be pretty sweet to see, but instead it's those unknown bastards.

I am really disappointed with Shippuden. It's extremely slow and even with that they keep adding filler episodes (even when the manga is years ahead from the anime). In the old episodes in 5-7 episodes they fight 2-3 times with Zabuza, in less than 10 episodes Naruto fights Gaara and the third Hokage Orochimaru, the fight between Naruto and Sasuke takes just a couple of episodes and the list keeps going. In Shippuden it took about 20 episodes for Sakura and Chiyo to beat Sasori while Kakashi and Naruto where following Deidara throughout this time. The fight between Naruto and Orochimaru that in the manga was just 3-4 pages, here stretched for 3-4 episodes. And I am not even going to mention the non fighting moments. SLOOOOOOOOOOOW and in most case pointless. Not only that but character development that was one of the strongest points in the first series came to a halt. You can't see any development in any of the characters while in the old episodes each and every one of them grew and matured (Naruto stopped being weak and useless, Sakura stop pitying herself, Sasuke changed from a bastard, to a friend and part of the team and from that to a back stabbing BASTARD, etc).
It's like what happened with DB and DBZ. The only thing you can wait now is just the battles. No humor, no drama no nothing

I gave up watching the animu after the first season, too damn slow. The manga has turned to crap in the past two years, and the artwork is mediocre, and the artist doesn't know how to convey motion in his artwork. I just love some of the secondary characters.

the manga has its ups and downs(sasuke being the down) but at least Its not as bad as the Bleach manga...

While I do find the series taking a very long time to get on with the story. I feel the most disappointing part of the serie's is that naruto( the main "hero") is still a weak and idiotic fool. He's only skills outside of shadowclone's; is the rasengan and thats it. I mean 2 years of training with a Sannin "uber powerul ninja" should of produced a lot better results then what he's been showing in my opinion. If he compare naruto to sakura, lee, or any other of his friends he's still bottom of the barrel. In reality it would only take sakura a single hit to kill him if she wanted to with that insane strength. Even with the series going insanely slow I just feel they did a terrible job with character developement especially in naruto's case 2 years and he sucks while sasuke and his friends are 100% more powerful then him it's very annoying; Sigh more ranting required ><.:em04:

naruto did learn to control the kyuubi's chakra more with more tail out(upto 3 he can control)

I do agree about the character development but then again every character that doesn't have a sharigan in this series doesn't get any development but to say naruto is weak............no just no his new attack(although it does hurt him also)is the most devastating attack in the manga it obliterates at a cellular level...he killed someone who was supposed to be immortal and its only %50 complete just imagine that baby at %100 and also there is still the keys to unlock the light side of the kyuubi....but the manga is stuck in sasuke mode for now..which i hate....so they probably won't ellaborate on that anytime soon

it feels slow cause they only animate like 1-2 chapters while bleach animates like 2-3 chapters per episode

why they animate so little is beyond me.........the have more than enough material for a long time

Well yeah shippuuden and actually Naruto in general is not as good as I'd like it to be which is a shame since it was really promissing in the first 2 seasons. Nowadays I only keep up with the manga since it's better then the anime but even in the manga I wonder where the mangaka wants to go with the story, he keeps adding more and more characters with every new release while the current cast is already enough to populate a small country :(

Naruto Shippuuden isn't as great as the first part of naruto. It's does not touch me as it used too. The reason i still watch it is only for the fight scene. I dunno but the story of Naruto is going downhill after Sasuke left the village.
