Does anyone know how to upload faster on megaupload. I have a cable internet connection so it should be fast but just like 80 megs takes a half hour. I wanna upload and post some good stuff for you guys but at this rate it will take like a week for one series. Help!
because megaupload's upload servers are trash no offence, also whats your speed? test it at [Only registered and activated users can see links] , When your done that post it. I normally get 100kbs-250kbs upload on to deposit files, I get around 60 on mega, its trash but yea post ur speed

Download speed = 1983 kb/s
Upload speed = 187 kb/s

Apparently MegaManager makes it go a bit faster, I haven't personally noticed a huge difference though.

I suggest downloading on Megaupload through their Free Premium Happy hour
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
While in happyhour u can use download accelerators to download. I suggest using the GetRight Download Manager ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) wit the FlashGot ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) Firefox Addon. You can have it set to download in up to 4 sections, and it relly multiplied the megaupload download speed.
Yea I know FlashGet is a Pay-for Program, but when it comes up with the Buy-Now messages, just ignore and go past them ^.^
U really don't have to pay ^.^

Ouch, your upload speeds pretty low, Not much you can really do but call your isp and upgrade your modem/connection, 187 kb/s Works out to be around 31kbs up so your sorta at a loss there, and assasinekiss Damn O.o... how much do you pay a month for your service? I know to get 25mbps down and 10mpbs up here its 100$ or 10mbps down and 1mbps up for 50 o.O... I only pay for my DSL witch is 2.5mbps down and up. for 45$ ^^

you saw mine:
down 16mbit/s -> around 2mb/s down
up ~800kbit/s -> 100kb/s
pay 45€, pretty expensive but there are no good ones over here.

I wish i could download at over 7.5mb/s, lol
Every time i download from anywhere it always goes round max of 1mb/s....
how the hell can it say i can download at over 7.5mb/s.....

because thats your internet sepeed, to get your dl or upload speed divide the number by 6 or 8

I'm just on Basic COX Broadband Cable Internet
I like Cable better than DSL, becasue every time I had DSL I always had the
problem of it disconnecting in spurts, lol. I couldn't play any online games or
char online becasue I kept getting disconnection messages

yea, my dsl rarely disc's on me, But I dont got a phone with my ISP either or voip (thats a huge killer on DSL) And when I did I never, Cable here is very slow :( and during the afternoon even slower, I love my dsl cause it never slows down on me ^^ and yea, I forget weather you divide it by 6 or if it was 8...it was one of the two,

That sounds right, but doesn't seem to quite work for me. Speedtest gave me 5829 Down and 555 Up. Dividing by 8 gave me 729 Down and 69 Up. The 69 Up is very accurate for what I've seen in practical use, but I've often surpassed the 1MB down (not that I'm complaining).
