anyone recommend a free to play MMORPG that is really fun and immersive? if not free to play, at least buy to play, but don't suggest pay to play games like WoW. a good graphics is a plus because my rig can handle latest games so it's no problem.

mmorpgs i played in the past:
RF online
dragon nest
dragonica
rusty hearts
aion
allods

i'm putting in my list:
guild wars 2
phantasy star online 2
c9

I surrender....

... I'm gonna try out all those new "doh" wannabe Hack'n Slash / Beat'em up MMOs ....
Just don't know which one yet... Not feeling like buying GW 2 , nor paying for Tera, so I guess I'll try out C9.

I miss the old games where a support class actually mattered.... Blizzard just fucked up WoW bad, each expansion they either make no content at all or it turns out that the game is a fucking job. Gotta log in everyday, do dailies and shit to get something which takes at least a fucking month! ( Yes.... Crusader title, I'm talking about you, you filthy son of a bitch that sucked up one month and two weeks of my life ).

Flyff Gold is dead, and after I logged in and killed the first mob... I was just like " jfc, there's only one attack animation .... " seriously.

Prius Online died some months ago, unfortunately... It was a game with a lot of potential and one of the few free MMOs I actually felt satisfied playing... You could get a set for your character in a matter of days... ALL classes were fun as hell to play, the maps were ok .. problem is it didnt have much content, considering it was released on 2008 ... 2009, something like that... in Korea.

I'm not feeling like buying RIFT, the game looks ok, but the gameplay is all messed up ( in my opnion ) ... Played a few hours on a friend's acc... I don't know... I just.... didn't like the game lol.

Star Wars: TOR is basically WoW back on "vanilla" ( classic ). The game looks cool, nice mechanics, fun classes, etc... but lacks content AND it goes back to the first thing I said .... Support classes are as "generic" as in WoW, you just Heal and shield...

Well... that's MY OPNION...

Well i see you already have Dragon nest on your list so why don't you try Vindictus cause i'm playing it until Phantasy Star Online 2 comes to the states then ima no life on that game.

C9 felt like an utter clusterfuck with a halfwit amoeba having designed the UI. GW2 is pretty damn good, no grinding, you can do tourney style PvP or massive world scale PvP from the get go. On the rpg market, that's pretty much all that's worth mentioning. Every other F2P MMORPG feels outdated after playing GW2 and some of the other good ones are monthly sub... since you aren't willing to do that, you've got my hands tied when it comes to recs. But as some others have mentioned, games like Vindictus and Dragon Nest might tide you by until some more quality F2P or B2P MMORPGs come out.

Aion is now free to play. But at times it's like pay to win. So in the end it's okay. Though they're upping their stuff and adding three new classes to it. Perhaps it will save Aion yet.

SEAL Online.. But it's not as good as in the past :(

Oh, maybe you can try ragnarok.. it's the best MMORPG game for many people, and now the Ragnarok 2 come out, with nice change and upgrades from Ragnarok.. I'm really interested in it.. :P

I suggest Neverwinter (when it's out, currently in Alpha which I'm a part of). It should be released F2P in Q1 2013 or early Q2 2013. You can sign up to be in the closed beta when it starts here soon on the website. The only other game I can really suggest to try is what someone else said Aion. With the new classes out it would be worth trying.

Tera is an action based mmo. its really fun and it just became free to play. i suspect the servers will be laggy or what not because of the huge rise in population but the game is definetely worth checking

Eden Eternal.

It's a nice looking game if you like Anime-Style Graphics and it appeals though cute combat.

I enjoyed a great deal of time with this MMO, but you should not be against grinding too much... :D

Anyway Hunter Blade is decent enough...if you don't mind what it ripped off...

ROSE Online, whilst old, is still a really nice game which I enjoy. A private server might be the best way to go, but one which is still quite fun.
