Soul Eater

Plot Summary: Set in the Shinigami technical school for weapon meisters, the series revolves around 3 groups of each a weapon meister and a human weapon. Trying to make the latter a "Death Scythe" and thus fit for use by the Shinigami, they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch.

Well after one episode in I say it looks promising. If not at least the OP and ED are really cool.

Yeah the fighting scenes seem to be just top notch I really respect that considering a lot of animes lately i've been watching have kind of been botching their fighting scenes. Glad to see some people are still trying.

I really love this series so far. The manga is really really good and theres alot of stuff I cant wait to see animated. The only thing I dont really like is Makas seiyuu but after a while I kind of got used to it. But, I think the seiyuu that does Sakuras voice (from naruto) would have been a better choice.

Does anyone know if Resonance has been released as a single yet? And if not, then how long it will be until it is?

This anime rocks, but it would be better if they changed maka's voice actor.

i like battle style of black star when he is serious ^^ but i prefer the first heroes
i hope this anime dont fall in a bleach story with bankai or super bankai , superbankai 2,...

ohhh black star is sooo cool...and i love Patty Thompson She's so so..cute XP. I also like the Shinigami's son...his symmetric complex is to great. Very good series overall, great action, pretty decent character developement. Must watch

i watched the 5 first episode of Soul Eater and i don't really like it because i think the main characters are not very interesting (compared to Bleach, ...), but the whole story is great.

i guess once you here shinigami everyone runs for cover expecting a bleach rip off but ssoul eater is just tooooo cool. I love the halloween town feel to the animation, the fight scenes rule.

yeah. there's always much more visual action. but i do agree that i favour the manga to a greater extent. its just my personal preference i guess. but i dont really fancy maka's voice.
