Hi Guys....

It's been mentioned more than a few times how similar Assassin's creed is to Prince of Persia, not to mention how it is being made by the same people. But, assuming you are somewhat familiar with the series,what do you think?

assasins creed.....great game great graphics.......great open world game..........best game ever played. everything is amazing about the game cool weapons,cool stunts...free running...with historical figures,,...
THey both from ubisoft and deliver The type of Action/Adventure, But which one is has better game-play and good storyline???

They're similar as in, both have a third person view. That's about it. I don't think a comparison would be fair, but still.

It depends heavily on which games of the series you compare. For example, Sands of Time was an exquisite game, both in gameplay and storyline. I didn't like Warrior Within or The Two Thrones. Assassin's Creed... was tedious, repetitive and flat out annoying. Then Assassin's Creed 2 came along and Ezio swept me off my feet. They pretty much managed to fix just about everything that was an issue in the first game. Prince of Persia (2008), on the other hand, was a wonderful game as well, all in terms of graphics, storyline(though incomplete!!) and gameplay.

The games are so different, though. There's no subtle "infiltration" in Prince of Persia, just as platforming is limited on Assassin's Creed games, however, both have great gameplay.

Now, if you were to do a straight comparison, between say, Prince of Persia (2008) or Assassin's Creed 2/Brotherhood, I'd go with Assassin's Creed, mostly because of Prince of Persia's ending.
