Sometimes the story in anime and manga is quite different, back then I used to think that anime and manga always have the same story just a few changes...... Tell me about the anime that different from its manga? what 's the different? And What do you think about the different? Which story line do you prefer?

I'll start by me
Recently I just found out that letter bee reverse anime different from its manga cause the bad guy is different and I doubt they 'll make the third season which make me sad........:ml33:

Anime is just an adaptation of the Original Manga. Of course I prefer reading manga since.. well it's original but watching anime is not that bad.. especially if the anime sticks with the same story of the manga. Example is One Piece. I love both anime and manga. Even though there are fillers in the anime, it's still good. unlike in others. My other fave both anime and manga is Gintama.

Ive encountered many anime and manga that has slightly different stories but still the same..but it's annoying to see that they changed the original plot sometimes. Like in KUROSHITSUJI. The ANIME was a TOTAL LET DOWN. They totally RUINED EVERYTHING. :c The manga is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better.

I prefer manga over anime, even without the audio, it is rather emotional and all for most mangas/manwha/ etc etc.
The anime usually leaves parts out since they are being timed and all and don't usually have either funds to make it long or they just didnt like the storyline and wanted to use the characters only.
Anime is only if reading the manga is too long for u and prefer something quick and have audio and subs to get u by faster without having to constantly change page or read each panel.

:sana (3):Thank you for your reply^^. I agree that anime is rather emotional because the audio, movement and the colour. And I also prefer manga cause the storyline is a lot more interesting and pure...... Not to mention sometimes you just feel a different vibe when watching anime that different from its manga which usually make me confused. But I think some anime have more story than the original just like Detective School where they change the discussion between A class and Q class in manga into a case.

I prefer Manga over Anime.

Though BEFORE I always thought that reading manga is such a pain and watching anime is much better. BUT I WAS WRONG.

Manga is really... much better. I can't explain it but maybe just like Yuuto Lennix (http://forum.nihonomaru.com/members/yuuto+lennix-1479452.html) said, it's original. I even cried just by reading manga.

I prefer anime 'cause I get really confused while reading manga... The only manga I'va tried to read was Disgaea, 'cause it was my favorite anime, and I dind't like it 'cause
1 - The history was different, it's Etna who wakes up Laharl (like in the game)
2 - The drawing are alot diferent from the anime, they don't look the same at all.
I have also read Pokemon Adventures and there u can see the pokémons inside their pokéballs, like if the pokeballs were translucid... Anyway, my conclusion from all of this is that I prefer anime dood.

this is a big advantage manga has over anime. while the manga is free to move at it's own pace, anime has tighter time constraints due to it higher production costs. as a result, the anime sometimes comes across as rushed and leaves out several details.

having been a manga reader for a few years now, I actually think it's actually faster or just as fast as watching the anime. if it's a long anime like Bleach or Naruto, I'd definitely say the manga is easier than the anime. Bleach has 1 or 2 good filler arcs, but I mostly found myself waiting for the main story to resume. I don't know of any good filler arcs from Naruto. I remember falling asleep during the Bount Arc(Bleach) and the episodes following the Sasuke retrieval arc.

I think it's because you compare an anime that originally based on game. most anime based on manga therefore their manga has stronger story line cause making anime take a lot of cost an if the anime have such a bad rating they of course make it faster to end by alternate the ending. I recomend you to try read manga that used as a base to make anime. But it's true sometimes I like anime graphic more than manga hahha. Have a nice day

Manga is usually the better of the 2.
It leads you to explore the movements and details with your own imagination~~ and it just lets you go at your own pace, one of the best way to pass time in my opinion~~

Anime is great that it is colored and animated (ofc) but sometimes it doesn't quite capture the "feeling" it gave u when you read the manga~~~ The human mind works mysteriously when you are not given too much detail (as in Manga) and are left to "explore" on our own.
So Manga definitely gives you that MAGICAL feeling :onsen:

Some Animes (like One Piece and many others) add a lot MORE detail compared to the manga and really spice things up!
In which case, you must read both Manga and watch Anime to get the FULL enjoyment!
(Also, watching Anime saves time xD)

Answer really varies depending on how well a job the creators do.... but in "General", Manga is still the Best^^
