i need help finding a manga or anime with lots of gore like blood,guts that sort of thing thankyou.

Personally I'd recommend Claymore or Beserker,i really like them both and they are both really bloody especially the anime's.Hope that helps.

I'd suggest the Hellsing OVA. Don't waste your time with the original series; it has a fair bit of gore to it, but it pales in comparison to the OVA, which follows the manga and has a much more graphic art style, resulting in some rather extreme violence.

Battle Royale is pretty gruesome...

how about High School of the Dead?

To all previously said, I'd add Blood C (the more you advance in the episodes, the gorier it becomes), Umineko no naku koro ni (do not confuse with Higurashi), Shiki, and Twilight of the Dark Master

I would recommend Muv-Luv Alternative: total eclipse. At least its bloody hell in the first two episodes. (and probably more later on).

Gantz also has manga (and movie?).
Shingeki no kyojin - Manga. This was really interesting tale about giants.
And also. Kurosagi corpse delivery service manga.. This hooked me right away.

Definitely go for "Berserk"
