There are a lot of animes out there that can make you think or change your outlook on life (at least for a short period of time)

Can you think of any that you remember really speaking to you, or you could relate to, maybe even one that changed you???

(for me, I am hugely effected by ANY anime I watch, when i watch a magical girl anime i begin to act cute, when i watch a horror anime i get depressed, does that happen to anyone else?!?)

Darker than black hugely influenced me as a manga-ka , and maybe the Clannad After Story, but that's only because it made me cry!:escape:

Why is it soo spaced out >.<

I don't really know if any anime has changed my outlook on life. Maybe Gundam Wing because it introduced me to j-pop ("JUST COMMUNICATION"). When I think of anime, Gundam Wing is the first thing to come to my head. So yeah, Gundam Wing was the seed of anime for me.

Hmm.. As for one that emotionally changed me.. I can't think of any. This is coming from someone that hasn't watched Clannads' yet (Worry not, I will watch it in the summer).
The anime the is probably the closest are pretty much all harem anime's haha. I can't really pin down one specific anime, because I guess it was a gradual thing. They make me think picking up girls is really easy and it doesn't take much effort to forge a relationship. Real life experiences has proven other wise though. :O

One anime that changed my way of thinking would be Lucky Star. I saw Konata being an otaku and having a lot of fun in the process; not giving a hoot about what anyone thought of her for it. Because of that I kinda decided that being into anime and manga wasn't anything to hide and now I'm proud of it as a hobby.

FLCL made a large impact on me. I don't think it changed me much but it certainly is one of my favourite animes now. I think I identified with Naota a lot.

Neon Genesis Evangelion changed the way in which I look at certain situations in my life. I identified with Shinji soooo much.

Toradora really changed my view on how I make relationships. Bakuman made me try just that little bit harder at life and Angel Beats! helped me decide what I want to do :)

Ok, let's what with topics.
Kaleido Star taught me not to give up. Even though i don't follow that advice very well.
Chobits taught me that you should fight for the one you love. As funny as it sounds, Sekirei taught me that as well.
Deadman Wonderland taught me a little bit on how people can be tricky, Gantz as well.
Inuyasha: Become stronger everyday to reach your goals and don't let anyone get in your way.
Toradora: You can be small, but can be powerful as a tiger

Ghost in the shell and serial experiment lain both made my fall in love with computers and witch I am going to collage to try to make a small chunk of ghost in the shell a reality.
Welcome to the nhk hit the deepest because I could relate to what the characters were thinking and their problems. I am no longer as bad as of hikikomori and socially awkward.
