Surprised to not find a thread with this. How many of you liked htis anime? Me? I loved it. Chi ftw.

BTW, Sumomo is kind of annoying, but she's still interesting :D

One of my favorites, a lot of people were put off by the "pantsu" episode but once past that it's a great story. I got used to Sumomo pretty quick, but she annoyed me at first.

Interesting story about human dependance on technology and companionship, "artificial" and otherwise, and the love story between Hideki and Chii was excellent. I adore Chii-chan :D

I liked this one alot, But enjoyed DearS a little more. Same Basic Story and concept tho.

O and I loved Sumomo, I remeber Sumomo and Kotoko poping up in another anime Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle , but she was alot bigger. I about jumped for joy.

Loved Chobits. Main character Hideki Motosuwa is great and he was instantly entered my top 5 list of favorite anime characters. Chi is extremely cute and there are a lot of messages to take from the series (dependence , isolation and addiction on technology)

I have read the manga..it was so unsatisfied at the end. I want to see more of the story.
I agree with you that there should be another season. Clamp should continue it after their current works !!

Chobits is one of the best anime/manga out there in my opinion. It's a classic. The pantsu episode really wasn't bad, it was hilarious the first time around for me. I got a Chi/Freya tapestry thingy behind my computer...

Chii is an extremely cute character and the romance between her and hideki is amazing and extremely comical

Chobits was my 2nd or 3rd series i ever collected....Own all the Show and Manga...and have some collector cards....I loved it... i like to watch it ever so often when i need a good show to relax on...and i like it just as much as Dears.... Its a shame how people compare the two even thought they have similarities... I loved Chi, Sumomo, Kotoko...and yumi was hot

Chobits was my first ever manga. Not just the first time I bought one, but the first time I had ever read one. Excellent story, and the art was well-delivered. Of all of CLAMP's work, this is my personal favorite. The characters were believable in design and were made very real by their personalities, but not enough to dilute the humor throughout. A 5/5 here.

Chobits is a good series, i agree with ya, but i cant help thinking there was something underlyingly creepy about the whole thing :P

And i thought it was kinda strange how throughout the series it shows that persocons ruin peoples lives, yet when it comes to whether he accepts chi... he says yes? Hmm lol.

Still, i enjoyed it ^^

ah chobits I loved the anime. I laughed at the Pantsu episode...Everything Chii saw she said "Pantsu! Pantsu!" One day I hope we have androids like Chii....Of course isn't that every males fantasy? :-p

chobits was kind of messed up too. there were many things that i didn't agree with in this anime. the relationship that was supposed to be father-daughter turned out to be something more just really ended it for me.

I think Chobits was the first 'proper' anime I saw, and I still love it to this day. I love the subtleties it has, the side stories, the varying attitudes of humans towards machines etc. etc.

Despite the whole ecchi/fanservice spin that fanart around the internet seemed to put on it, the series is very romantic.

i liked the anime but i really was sad fir the girl who was in love with the hero morover the many things were stoppen without explication it would be better if they make a season 2 to change the story a little i mean no more love between chi and the hero(im always forgetting its name) but love between the cute girl and him something like that ;)

Hideki's the name of the protagonist. I loved this anime, funny and good story, I thought it was going to become an unwanted harem but fortunately it didn't. I loved the ending and Sumomo and the black tsundere mobile persocom (forgot her name) in the chobit special was really funny, they are the funniest team up comedy I've seen so far

I'd A Loved It...but I don't really like to watch the same show more then three or four times

Great anime, good charecters, funny and dramatic. Sumomo was funny but Kotoko was my favorite. and the "Pantsu" episode is the best.
