Is anyone here good at creating Modula/Hack ? I want to create this hack with a nice page layout that allow members or guests to submit links like ( Rapidshare, Megaupload etc.. )
So for those people who are lazy to create a decent threads, they would rather prefer to submit their RS,MU etc.. links to that search engine.
Of course that Submit form, will ask for ::
1- The name of that topic.
2- Describtion.
3- What type of link it is ( RS,MU,SS ) = rapidshare, megaupload, sendspace Etc..
4- The uploader of those links.
5- And finally the url of the link.
So whatever a user wants, he/she just search the title and find the links to download them.
If you are good at programming and want to help, you can pm me.
Sort of like the removed script?

I may be able to program it, I'm good with realBASIC, Visual Basic and Visual C#, I just need more info on what its supposed to exactly do, I don't quite get it from the description above.
EDIT: If Its PHP, then I cant do it, sorry...

You'll have to supply more details I'm not exactly shure what you want to have. If it's in PHP I can only supply a guideline but someone else will have to code it (I'm pretty good when it comes to C++ & FLASH and PHP isn't far from C++).

Well It is possible to create such a script...
Give me an UML and I will be albe to create it/program it. It sounds relative easy if you ask me....
It just needs a database link and that is the hardest part. The other part is getting it into this forum. But that should not be impossible...
I will have a look at it after I am done smoking... Maybe I can create it in 4 hours max.
BTW, can I be+repped if I make :P (What is the pay (6) <- insert random evil emoticon meant as a sarcastic remark :) )

You are making it sound hard. All it is going to take is one function, one table in a database, and about three hours of your time. If you don't want the user to enter the Rapidshare or whatnot, you'll have to have JS to hold the php value so you can port it into the database.
I guess I failed to mention that I am working with php/mysql. So it's not that difficult at all.

It is indeed not hard to do it. But the problem is that I did not write vbulletin ;) So I have absolutely no idea yet how it is composed... (Now I am looking at the script and it seems pretty logical. Everything is well documented.)
So now it is case to find an example script and then I will know how to output lines of text and input fields... I think i already found it but it is unclear what includes that should be used and how they should be called correctly without jeapordizing security etc etc etc...
I am pretty sure about my knowledge ;) And trust me I have 5 years programming experience with PHP. All around forums and even bittorrent sites... ;) I even made some commercial scripts so I think that I am able to create a good enough script.

I don't have quite as long on PHP as you do, but I have done Programmed over about six years (Seven on Web Design) And pretty much, you can just do it on the same database, but do not worry about having vb_ prefix. Just use your own prefix. And the only other thing you can do is include the original config file. Either that or create another one and block it off.

I will just use the display class and the DB class of vbulletin. That way it is an easy application that can be changed with enough vbulleting experiance... Although this is my first time, no wait second time with vbulleting... :) But oh well... PHP is not that hard to program :P
P.S. I already found the right commands to use to build the application... Now I only have to program it and link it a bit and after that it is testing and outputting.

No offense but if you were good enough with those you'd know they're not meant to deal with most internet features.
Sounds to me like you have 3 years of basic computer classes. Along with a few other things like pascal and delphi, that's what I studied back in junior high.
PHP isn't too hard to handle, I just never took an interest on it. Back when I began studying programming, C was the big thing...
I'm getting way too offtopic. :th_osakawave:

Must mean that he's in love with ya and if you don't behave, you'll get no special items from him.

No christie... I mean that I want to prevent me from stalking you... So that is why I said, please behave..... :)
You are way to good to the forum users... Friendly, warm, bi sexual with Arika and verry fun to talk with. And thus you are in my eyes the most suited to become a women of mine... Although I am sure that our views are different ;)...
But that is what I sense and what I see from you. :hot:

It is meant with some deeper meanings. Because that part is more aimed at my own preferences.
