The anime will be based on the manga from Katsura Masakazu, which is still ongoing since 2002. The annoucement were made through a cover note on the 16th volume of the manga.

Synopsis:


Jin is a strange kid with an angel mark on his hand. He lives a poor but peaceful life with his grandfather, along with the other destitute and abandoned vagabonds near the river. One day, his peaceful life changes when a strange monster named "player" appears, chopping off heads and killing everyone who appears in front of it.

never heard of the manga till now..looks promising..both the manga and the anime...

Yeah. I read the manga since 2-3 years and its getting better and better. The action scene drawings are just awesome. Never saw such clear and detailed drawings in a manga.

This anime is sick

Well, i think this manga adaption is really poor. The action scenes were boring as well as the deviant story... i just cant understand it. How difficult can it be to follow the original story? Why was it so necessary to make a deeper bonding between Jin and Kouga? Exactly this circumscription ruined the whole anime!

Go with the manga!...

Yeah, the anime was a bit disappointing... The whole time I felt as if it will never reach its full potential :(
