Because they are busy. Simple as that. :)

Most of them don't post at all if it isn't something concerning their job . As for why , most of them are busy . Or unwilling to post , especially in the E/N. ;)

I do not think simple mods and SMods have the same duties and abilities though :)

To moderate anything is hard work and to moderate moderators are harder.
All in all staff members are doing their job brilliantly and therefore the forum isn't in a mess.
