the bg effect really is nice, and i like your choice of text though maybe it could be blended in a bit more... also. nice render, but i think it needs to be zoomed in a bit more... (enlarged that is) so that u forcus on the torso on up... imo that is...

But enlarging the render will be difficult.
Since it's all a copy of all layers in one. The ctrl + Alt + E Apple Image, I did that 5 - 6 times, (to get these effects) so I need to delete all the layers to get to the render.

yea, i been doing the apply image thing a lot lately too... pain in the neck when u wanna do revisions.... thats the main reason i just went ahead and took out that white line on my asuka sig instead of darkening it (i'm lazy)... .... heh...

It looks good, not one of your best but still good :D I agree with DJ though there is a bit too much background the render would look better if it was a bit bigger :S but I wouldn't go through the trouble of fixing it :P not that big of a problem.
