Kuroko is a member from the legendary middle school basketball team known as "The Generation of Miracles", and while nobody seems to know about him, the main five players of the team all admit that he is a better player, the phantom sixth player. When he joins the high-school basketball team, everyone is surprised to find out that he is small, weak, and easy to miss. What is the secret that makes him so strong, and how will he help his high-school team?

Am I the only freak looking forward to this?
I have been following the manga since it only had like 5 chapters scanlated and have been falling more and more in love with it.
Finally a decent sports manga with a great story and badass characters.

Production I.G is picking it up, which means it gotta be good.
Hopefully it will be out sometime in 2012.

I hope this becomes a long-running series. Of course, since this a Shounen Jump anime the possibility that it will be a short series will be low, but it as happened before.

You never know. While I adore the manga, I hope they won't make a Naruto/Bleach/One Piece on it, though I highly doubt they will.
More important is that they stick to the story line and won't make too much up as they go, because Kuroko truly has a lot to show and tell. But, it's not even certain it will come in 2012 and at the pace the manga is going, we will probably reach over 20 volumes before the anime will air.
As long as they remember the Winter Cup - which they will. ;)

No freaking way . Remember Slam Dunk ? But this will be like better since the protagonists relies on tech instead of raw power . Looking forward to it .

Watching Kuroko every week and loving it :D (I wish I was still using my Kagami set so that you'd believe me when I say I love it :D ) Anyway, not reading the manga for the moment, waiting for the anime to end and then I will probably check the manga, since 25 episodes is nowhere near enough of those guys :D

Lovin' this series! Episode 14 was a bit dull compared with the last handful but I'm looking forward to more. Also noticed the opening sequence changed; I'm guessing it's because the series entered it's second chapter.

I like the anime, a lot, but you get far more from the manga, imo. :)
The basket fights have far more power & more freedom because there isn't the restrictions as the anime have (unfortunately) and the expressions are far funnier.
So far, there are 172 chapters out, I believe.
Due to various distractions, however, I have only watched 4 episodes so far, but I'll probably catch up to it soon.

I love how the intense moments are still intense... AFTER reading the manga and everything. =w=

Love this series~
I learned about this series because of the anime but now I prefer the manga to anime.
At first the art and story might not be that good but the author is definitely improving and this series is getting better and better in the latter chapters.
I really like the comedy and the friendship between the team-mates.
