i was kinda thinking the same, the diference is:
Being invisible at will(so i won't alter history) and have all the knowledge of what is about to happen so i can place myself in the right place at the right time, for example the office of Hitler just before he shot himself (if he did), find out who really killed Kennedy, be there for the first printed book, who killed Colosio (mexican pun), but the most important thing Who was Jesus

As for History yea I love it (that why I'm trying to become a history teacher). For period and countries I would have to say Roman and Greek civilization before the fall of the western Roman Empire. Other countries I would love to learn (or have started) are Japan, China, all of Europe, and mexico (since I was born there but now live in US). \

Why The Spanish Inquisition? To me it was the most interesting, I can say, period during the whole Inquisition. Especially the reign of Philip II of Spain. Try to imagine what would happen if The Spanish Armada wasn't defeated by England (obviously it a simbol of spanish fall). By the way Philip was a catholic bigot and probably he supported activity of Inquisition. It's an example :)

Hmm I can imagine but to make it short I would say that the Protestant Reformation would have had a different aproach in history without England. Also America may have been a catholic nation instead of a Protestant one :XD:
