Though the cinematics is superb, to me the decepticons characters look like a pile of junk put up together....especially starscream... and optimus prime is not very optimus prime like....his more of a rodimus prime with those flame like designs!....woot woot....LOL!

The animations and stuff look AMAZING. But i also heard somewhere that decepticons are all combat Vehicles. While Autobots are all Trucks and bullshit cars lol. so the decepticons look alot cooler.

Well, I was suprised in a good way by this movie. After knowing a few Michael Bay movies, I expected a bunch of patriotic explosion bull...., but it was actually pretty good. Optimus Prime looked awesome, but my favourite one was the Helicopter Robot, Shockwave was his name I think. You can even play this guy in the game and it kicks ass.

It's a good movie (the 3D is awesome)...has a humour,doesn't make the audience get bore...n there's Megan Fox :shy:, services for the Boys :banzai:

I've seen it twice already. Its got a great mix of action, comedy, and (for lack of a better word) romance (ugh, if anyone can think of a better word for that, please say so lol), not to mention a good soundtrack. Gotta love Ironhide's suggestion to getting rid of the parents, Frenzy (the boombox/cell-phone) getting nailed by his own projectiles and saying "Oh shit", and the slap-stick moment "BumbleBee, stop lubricating the human". And yes, they are obviously gonna have at least 1 sequel. The all-spark is basically raw power, and the fusion of it with the spark of any of the Transformers is gonna halt functioning for a while, but then they'll come back even stronger. Plus, we haven't even seen Optimus in his battle-gear (the cab you always see him driving around with in the shows). Lets just hope they don't do a Beast Wars movie, even though Cheetor is the shit hehehe.


Oh, and P.S. I FUCKIN HATE STARSCREAM!!!!!

Transformers was fantastic with a kick-ass soundtrack to boot! It really exceeded my expectations. If there's a sequel, that's really good news. 2009 seems pretty far away though.. can't wait!

1) It's a transformers movie. The entire thing is based around camp.
2) 'MIB spoof'? The whole 'aliens brought our tech' thing has been done by a lot more than MIB, and for it to be an MIB spoof, the aliens would've had to do so willingly. Instead, they're just using a tried-and-true method of linking the aliens with us, AND setting up the way the aliens can communicate with our equipment.
3) 'Loser boy gets girl with help from giant robots' was a lot less important than 'save the world from evil robots with help from giant robots'.


People will ALWAYS find things to complain about. However, as a standalone movie, I felt Transformers was really good.

If done well? Yes. However, only one Frankenstein movie has actually followed the plot of the book to more than the barest degree, and that one was largely ignored. We're more likely to get another crapfest featuring Henry Frankenstein.
