The series was just awesome with brand new story & concept. It was really different from other Anime. I really used to love it very much.

I take it there is nothing on the horizon? Solid State Society was a follow-on from 2nd gig so where could the series go from there? I'd be interested to see a more global scale in any future series by perhaps expanding the story into Russia or the Middle East.

An outstanding series! The writing is about as good as it gets. 2nd Gig is as good as classic X-files.

Does anyone know what the ending of Solid State Society meant? Was Motoko unknowingly part of a "collective unconscious" made of all the people connected to the internet... including that guy with white hair that Motoko knew as a young girl? Can't remember his name right now... stupid me.

The x-files genre make the film a little hard to follow.
