My first anime I saw was actually the First Anime, lol the 1981 version of Astroboy. A friend of mine had a VHS with the first 3 Episodes of Astroboy in it's origional Japanese audio/unsbbed.
His Father got it imported when the VHS of Astroboy was first released.
So it was an origional VHS. *Which is worth quite a bit of money now-a-days, lol* Hardcore Anime Otakus would pay Thousands of Dollars for it. lol

DRAGON BALL BITCH!!! That was back when they started airing it on Cartoon Network. I love that show. It brings back memories of watching Toonami every day after school. Gundam Wing and such. I remember I used to be outside with friends and we'd all notice the time at the same time and run to my house to watch the beginning of Toonami. We hardly ever saw it. You know the one, with the cool 3D animation of TOM. Then they changed it all, Saturdays only. Now it's only on for two hours. Two Narutos, one One Piece, and Dragon Ball Z (the Cell Saga is on now).
Anyone remember the huge massive fillers of stand offs and the episode long Kamehamehas? I loved that stuff.

Have you ever played the Mazin Saga Mazinger Z game for the Genesis? I think it's only loosely based on the anime but it was a sick game anyways.

Sailormoon (the dubbed one), when I was 5 or 6, back in 1995. If we're talking about anime in it's pure, raw, form (japanese, unedited), then my first would've been The Slayers (I think...it's been a long time).

I watched Bt'x first. I used to love it when I was around 5-6 years old. The graphics is very old compared today so I don't watched it anymore. Also animes from that time tends to have a part wherein the transformation takes to long. eg. In Bt'x, he takes to long to activate his armor which is showed once in every episode of the series. Watching it now will just make me bored because of that. Still I find it good for an anime of 1990's

My first was the American release of Space Battleship Yamato - known here in the States as 'Star Blazers'.
Yes I know I'm dating myself.
I didn't really go hardcore until Macross / Southern Cross / Mospeda came out here as 'Robotech'. After that I was pretty much doomed.

Don't really recalled. But I watched Transformers (not anime). I remembered there is this anime where the characters used robots to battle (not medabots, gundams or any robot fighting anime after 1985 production). But after that, anime that I watched were Sailormoon, Dragon Balls, The Adventure of Montana Jones, Dash Yonkuro(the name some sort like that) and El Hazard: the Alternative World.

Wow... I guess your friend must be a philosophy type since he tried to change you to a better person. or did you get worst after that ? lol. How did your friend forced you? Blackmailing? If my friend try to do that on me, I won't be coming home for 1 whole day until the time he slept.

When a girl does sad puppy eyes, how the hell can you say no?
for the best.
my first anime that I saw was transformers robot in disguise, i enjoy to watch the series.
But i have not see some episode because of school, or too much homework to do
I used to watch anime on TV since I was really young so I can't really remember. It was probably Sailor Moon.

My first anime exposure at all was... Dragonball dubbed when I was 9 years old. My first real experience with anime was Evangelion when I was about 10, kinda a tough anime to start on for a 10 year old, but I loved it. Although I didn't understand all of the subtle metaphors and whatnot back then as much as I do now.
