New Award system / New skin

Hey everyone,

I have installed the award system, it is back but much better. I think

[Only registered and activated users can see links]

You can't request these awards, we staff members will notice your work starting from today and will see if you deserve any of them or not, I think the most easiest one to achieve is to join the SOTW, sig tourneys and try to win one of these competitions.

Also i have installed a new skin, i hope you like it, also i made the banner, kinda cute i think.

if other people have suggestion, i don't really like the font, so if you like to make new fonts, you are more then welcome.

Also I need this from whoever can do it:

New forum Icon, you know icons like these, they are on every skin

let see i need 2 type of them this time.

ex

The theme of the icon, any type of Anime, but make it cute, i am so picky.
Size, you can make it more bigger if you like. Since the default icon of this skin is bigger anyways. but don't make it so big.

How to change skin


Well, first of all, scroll down until you find this box, on the left side of the forum

[Only registered and activated users can see links]

Now click on it, and you'll have many options

it is a lot of work to edit these navy bars ;s i will probably add the forum link but for each navy bar you need to make two pic for it, which takes a lot of my time because i am not so good with gfx

Yup, SOTW #21 is still running at the moment. So I guess for SOTW#21 I won't have to make an award image then, lol.

What Anime characters, and What Color theme, becasue when i go to the "Slamandara" it goes back to the "RahXephon" skin without changing to the "Slamandara" skin, so I don't know what the color theme looks like... lol

wait a sec, use lolifox and test it, may be you didn't wait till the skin totally load. try lolifox. It is working fine for me, so it should for you too.

I just use Plain Firefox not loli fox, and I want to just stick with Firefox.
I loged in on IE, and it changed just fine.

On Firefox, I even went to my User CP's Options, and tried changing it there manually, and it switches to "Forum Default" when I try to change it, lol.

lol, yup it was.
I restarted my Firefox, and then the "Slamandara" skin loaded just fine, lol.
I like this skin. I think I'll stick with it.

lol i updated it cuz i couldnt watch any vids on youtube, they freezed after 2 sec, but having updated firefox to beta 3, and downdated the adobe flash player, solved the prob^^
thats why i updated it, but id rather prefer the older vers...

If some people wish to make icons like elder , they can, but he was way too creative this time =3 i need some for he greenfox/raphaxon skin and one for the naruto skin.

I don't know, but stuff like what elder did really caught my attention, the color blend, the weird shape, the quality of the picture etc..
Usually the stuff that looks weird are the stuff that looks good :3

Aur0ra: If you want my personal opinion I'd say that one is good, but there's too much green. It just looks a bit too thick and kind of gives it a tacky feel. Just my two cents, but the shape is good. I'm not expert either, heh.

And more skins! Great, a Rahxephon one? Badass!

Haha, love the Imari one because of the sexy banner. XD

Hope to see some darker ones though, I'm a fan of those.

I like them, my suggestion is to try and make them around the size of elder's icons =] also have some kind of edges around them, not stroke it but some kind of edges around now, but i like how they are, oh and if they get bigger i am sure the faces will appear more clear as well, a nice idea is to use the faces provided by our smilies, these anime faces, i think that is a great idea.

The new skin doesn't look bad, but I liked the dark skin ^^. Since I mostly use the internet from 10pm - 1am. I still like it though ^^
