I agree. That bastard doesn't even deserve to exist. Pity the DVD release didn't have any more grotesque death scene of him.
I'd say Lousie and Saito from Zero no Tsukaima, purely due to season 2. The development (the little they had) got trashed at the end of the season, solely for the purpose of setting up another sequel.

I seem to agree with everyone from the school days crowd...I have a tough time thinking of a couple I hated more than Itou and everyone else...:-p. The anime had such potential, but it turned really weird really fast...I don't mind it too much, but still...what an ending...

Well... I think you just mean Itou and Sekai. Sekai was jealous and made him cheat on kotonoha and he becomes a douche... ends up getting a girl pregnant, gets stabbed, and gets his head cut off, everyone else is fine. Especially kotonoha :P

I cannot name a specific couple but I hate any harem show that reveals, right off the bat, who the main female protagonist in either episode 1 or my personal favorite, the opening and ending. Damn I hate you Da Capo. Personally I like to be surprised or at the very least not make the end couple so obvious with all the generic events, i.e. loved one sick in bed.

Keitaro and Naru from Love Hina worked my very last nerves. Though I forgave them a little when I realized the series wasn't so much a Love Comedy as a parody of the genre.
It's a shame too because I loved the secondary characters in that series.

I don't think Shuffle was bad. I just think that Rin nerfed the whole girl picking. Especially since it came right out of left field when he picked Asa instead of Sia or Nerine (Spoiler if you think about it.)

School days, i agree makoto is a nob. but so wer all the other girls willing to sleep with him ¬___¬ but i agree with OP, aya and touya wer so ill suited =/ i wanted her to get with yuhi (the voice actor for him does renji too :P wow, he went from love struck cook to OTT baboon wielding air head.. what a change lol) but, at the same time, i kinda wanted him to end up with chidori.. poor chidori :(

I vote every couple in any of Rumiko's animes...examples. Ranma and Akane, Inuyasha and Kagomi. They just have so much friction. Seriously though...after 6 to 7 seasons...one may think they would become more excepting...but no...same thing over and over. Lum had the right idea...appear in alot of OVA's and meet different people...less friction that way. O_o

The main protagonists from Suzuka. Mainly because Suzuka was a bitch throughout most of the story and I just didn't understand why the main male protagonist fawned over her so much, it was pretty annoying until the end. Despite the happy ending, her attitude still left a bitter aftertaste and I still wish he gave up on her (Or at least she chase after him).
