I've never actually cried while watching an anime but I've been deeply moved by some. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzimiya was one of the ones that affected me greatly. I got really into it and I was really sad when I finished it. I hope they hurry up with the next season or show. Clannad was the one that brought me closest to tears. Episode 9 really did a number on me though. I'm not sure if I'd be able to watch it again but I guess I can take a fall for a good anime.

Eureka Seven never made me cry or even get close to it but I watched it with full concentration. I haven't seen the other ones on your list but I'll be sure to check them out.

Yeah same here, I've never really cried but I am of course deeply moved and sometimes I can't get the show off my mind.

1) Cowboy Bebop
2) Fate Stay Night
3) Death Note
4) Samurai 7

Come to think of it, I might shed a small tear on Samurai 7 lol... I dunno but it's still not crying.

I finished School Days a few hours ago and I have to say that that's some fucked up shit. The OVA was pretty funny though.

School Days - I didn't enjoy the womanizing protagonist die with lots of Stabs and severed head.(He deserved it though)
Kimi ga Nozomu eien - I feel too bad for characters. It was realistic and made me cry.
Kanon(remake) - The story was good. I feel sorry for the protagonist's loved ones.

Code Geass... I cried when it ended. =[

For honest-to-God crying out loud it was Grave of the Fireflies (which was embarassing because I was on a date) and Windaria.

For the more restrained suspicious-moisture-at-the-corner-of-my-eyes level... wow too many to count. Though most recently Gundam 00 and Code Geass have moved me to that point.

Clannad the movie is the only one that has managed such a feat so far. Kanon might have managed it if the fox girl (forgot the name) hadn't her death announced so much sooner than she actually died.

But yeah, pretty much anything made by Key is bound to evoke emotion. Makes me look forward to what they are going to make now that Clannad is about done.

That fox girl is Sawatari Makoto- My fav. character T.T. Basically, I will feel sad for any anime I watched if it touches me. Maybe a few drops of tears for AIR TV. Maybe I did shed some tears for Makoto (can't really recall already). or maybe I did shed my tears for most of the sad story animes... but one thing I know, I haven't cried yet for Clannad.

Even though many animes moved me I almost cry in Elven Lied in the last episodes and Naruto when Haku and Zabuza die and almost whenever the sadness and sorrow song plays (one of the best soundtrack in any anime)

I could have sworn I replied to this topic already...
Anyway-
Now And Then,Here And There.
That has got to be the most depressing and truthful anime ever made.
Grave Of The Fireflies comes close, and some works by Makoto Shinkai, but NTHT;God, what a masterpiece.

Wow, I guess i'm alone here but Naruto did make me cry. Like that Zabuza scene that two other people described and I was touched by things like when Sasuke saved Naruto from Haku's needles, and the fight between Naruto and Sasuke around episode 125-130 with all the memories and stuff. The voice acting is so good in the Japanese one and the emotions are so real that it gets to me (but Naruto is the only series for me)

I guess this makes me a really big dork because no one else said Naruto :)

Chrno Crusade, Romeo X Juliet, and Zero no Tsukaima that developed powerful relationships pretty well made me cry. The way the stories use a love relationship makes it all the more powerful at the part which makes the viewer cry. (I Don't wanna ruin any part of it.)

Never cried (Almost did) was Mahou Sensei Negima. For those who have watched it, you'll know why.

well elfen lied has it's touching moments but it's more famous for the extreme gore rather that it's drama

Indeed. The only really "gut wrenching" moment in Elfen Lied is at the very end. But even then, Negima (IMO) has it beaten.
