Bill Hicks ... by far.
And besides him, a local comedian named Alex Agnew. his jokes are a bit crude and blunt, but his delivery is superb.

Bill Hicks. His stuff was incredibly accurate... and for the most part, still is.
When I first heard his stuff, I didn't know he had died in 1994, so I assumed it was for today's situation. It was a HUGE shock when I learn he died so long ago, yet his number on Bush and the Iraqi situation still fits, among other things...
Jim Carrey. No question.
Canadians ftw!

Jim Carrey hasn't done anything funny in years including his recent "comedy" movies Bruce Almighty and Fun with Dick and Jane sucked. Really sad too see this guy do alot of crap for the past 7 or so years. Dammit your better then that. :destroy:

Daniel Tosh and Eddie Izzard.
Dane Cook is utter crap, and Bill Hicks was great, but the godlike pedestal people put him up on is ridiculous.

So many out there to choose from. And I mean good comedians,
and not just comedians in general. I absolutely love Dave
Chappell. You can find me popping in his stand up 'Killing Them Softly'
DVD atleast 4-5 times a year. His show was just pure genius.
I really like Rodney Carrington's stand ups as well. I have 2 of his CDs.
That dude is hella funny.

I for one was very sad when George Carlin died; very very VERY funny man in my opinion. Of course some of his humor is topic-sensitive but it works.

He was one of the only comics I know that could rant for hours and manage to keep it funny all the way through. Damn..
