I could describe the way girls described it to me, but it just sounds soooooo much better coming straight from the lips of the fairer sex.

Firstly, I'll apologise to my love for replying to this thread.....I really shouldn't.....but I'm curious for ppl's opinions on the sensations. So I hope you'll forgive me~.

Ok, so tell me, WHY do these sensations feel good?
#Feels light-headed
#Mind goes blank
#"series of contractions of muscles contered around the vagina and vulva" (quote from a Medical Encyclopedia)
#Contractions of muscles all over the body (very briefly)
#Sweating like a pig
#Elevated heart-rate
#Shortened and quickened breaths

I'm really intrigued why these simple feelings make you feel so good~~~. I mean, when the muscles on your arm/leg contract during exercise...you're not really gonna get over-excited are you? (your friends would probably never speak to you again....or atleast humiliate you for the rest of your life~~^^).

If anyone has the answer to why it feels so good...please reply. I'd really appreciate it^^.

Or not...

He was asking about the feeling of women's orgasms, not the physical muscle twitching from the good tingles. He's asking about, you know, the waves... coming in and out... what eventually culminates into the female orgasm... Describe that instead. I know you know what I'm talking about.

Okay. There are two different kinds of nerve-endings: motor and sensory. Motor nerves don't feel a thing; they control muscle movements. Sensory nerves on the other hand, cannot control movement but feel all sensation, including the movements of the muscles. This is why you can keep your body stiff and still feel an orgasm. The reason a stiff-bodied orgasm is not as intense as a flopping around, screaming-at-the-top-of-your-lungs orgasm is actually all mental. There is a correlation between bodily movements and the thinking process in terms of self-expression, including sexual self-expression.

For example, conventional wisdom dictates that a smile is the result of seeing an image that is processed by the brain and sends electrical signals to the face to contort the mouth into the shape of what we perceive as a smile.

Conventional wisdom and neurology rarely coincide, however. If you take a look at an over-stuffed overflowing trash can, then take a pencil and place it between your teeth, you are most likely to burst out laughing. Why? Because you are artificially simulating an expression of disgust that also blends with a smile. In other words, you think the ridiculous-looking trash can is funny because you are smiling, not the other way around. You are afraid because you are running. You are sad because you are crying. You orgasm harder because your whole body gets into it.

The relation between body and mind in self-expression is undeniable. The feeling of imminent orgasm tenses up your muscles because of this mind-body correlation, sending additional sensations to your brain, enhancing the experience. There are additional factors too such as dopamine being released from the hypothalamus in the brain but that is getting too technical for this post.

Hope it helped. And yeah I know I'm overeducated.

ROFL.....

Beutifull really beautifull. :)

Nice explanation of the female human body... But it also goes for the male human body... (to some degree)

What I have heard is that their mind goes blank and they just really enjoy afterwards... I have never heard anyone describing it exactly.

Confidence and severe amount of knowledge when it comes to knowing how to pleasure a woman. So even if he doesn't have the practice to do it which I know he most certainly does then he would just have to learn with the already possessed knowledge.

Well, I'm no Biology major but...

in response to #1: you know what runner's high is? yeah, it's kinda like that.
#2: wouldn't say blank, but it's because of the brain. when the human brain reverts to it's primal instincts (fight/flight/sex) it shuts down or blocks out the relatively new instincts from the emotional center.
#3: makes the nerve endings leading to the pleasure center go wild. endorphins galore as #1 stated.
#4: not sure why, not my major
#5: sex is a physical act, typically in a warm place with contact with warm objects =), only to be expected
#6: directly related to most of the above, especially #5 and #7
#7: directly related to #5+6

as to WHY these make us feel good, ask anyone with knowledge about the human brain.

*edit* whoops, forgot to answer topic question:

the list posted is exactly what happens to me when i orgasm; it's a lot better than it sounds because of the mentality of consensual sex. now if i were raped and orgasmed, all of that would happen but i wouldn't enjoy it (although some do)

I ah... I'm not used to getting complemented like that, not as a person anyway. I've always been complimented for what I've done (my techniques, what I've written, how I dress, etc.). I really don't know how to respond. I'm not arrogant, so I'm not going to say "Yes, I know; and you forgot dashing too." I'm not abashed, so I'm not going to run away into a corner and say "You guys....."

There's really no other predictable time that I am at a loss for words as when I've been genuinely complimented.

Um........... thanks.

not so fast.

I have a bounty of words set aside for ones such as you however... Unfortunately, the last guy I torched got me a warning and I'm not willing to push it, at least, not this soon after.

I don't have a "woman" right now. My girlfriend left me a while ago and I'm not interested in a romantic relationship right now, at least not at this critical junction I've just come to in my life. And before you get any ideas, it wasn't the sex. It concerned a pretentious travesty consisting of fiancées, love triangles, a lot of duplicity, and me being vicious in matters of the heart. A lot of drama I don't want to get into.

The girls I've slept with have wanted me so much that they aren't satisfied for a while, so in response to your post, you are actually correct (partially). As far as my old girlfriend's opinion, she's not into anime so she wouldn't want to be here anyway.

And for the record I prefer terms such as "girlfriend," "wife," or "partner." Calling a girl "my woman" makes her sound like an object.

Ack. :aty: You still haven't described how it FEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLSSS!!!! You merely concurred with the previous statements regarding muscle twitching.

as to WHY these make us feel good, ask anyone with knowledge about the human brain.

Not brain as much as spine. Yes you read right. I've just started a new thread and will address this at in the link at the end of this post.

now if i were raped and orgasmed, all of that would happen but i wouldn't enjoy it (although some do)

No. You would enjoy it against your will if the rapist took precautions. For more details and a moral dilemma people hate answering, go to this thread:

Compliments don't exactly always deserve intern another.
All they need`n is acknowledgment.
