Please don’t ask to often about updates

The Game:
This is how it works XD
You can earn Bravery Points which will help you level up (0-20). You can do that by either attacking other members, Islands, Pirates or Member of the Marine. To win a battle your level must exceed the level of the attacked. If you attack someone who has the same level as you, we will flip a coin and see if you won. You also get Bravery Points for posting in the club (10 Post = 1 BP)
0-1 BP = Level 0
2-10 BP = Level 1

the list with points will be updated as soon as we know how the club works

By attacking others or defending (if you are part of the Marine) you earn Bravery Points and Money. You can use the Money to buy Weapons and Devil Fruits. If you buy a Devil Fruit your Power will be chosen randomly. If you obtain a Devil Fruit or a Weapon you can get your level up to 25.

right the co owner of the Enter the Grandline club does not know it exists, and if you didnt read up there is the history where I even posted the link to the old one pice clubs

this is the new one since heero didnt have the time to update, I asked him if it is okay to open a new one and he was okay with it

also there already have been some disscussions in the Enter the Grandline about the new one

I only decided to open it and then start some discussions in here about the new rules and the Pirate game

how will this be working?
there are still some unknown variables
like
how many attacks are possible?
how do you determine the money earned after an attack?
and wouldn't it be pretty frightening for newbies to come here and getting attacked by all the pirates without being able to ever defend?

everything's a bit sketchy so far

i will try to criticize as constructive as possible since i want this club and the system to work well :)

there will only be one atack in one week
the money earened depends on the island or the pirate you are atacking
that is something I am not so sure about it but basically until you reach level 1 no one can atack you, I guess that gives you enough time to for example join a crew

it is since I am not sure how many people will join, and so on, thats why I only put up the basic system, since there was so much more in discussion

sure every input helps ^^

so how do crews play in this stuff then
i'm imagining something like crew members coming to help the weaker ones if they manage to get there in a set time limit
and if they successfully defend the attack the BP and money get split between both crew members

and what's that about the islands exactly?

if you create a crew all the level of your crew members count, so you if you have 3 members with level 1 that would be equal to someone who is at level 3, that was the idea behind the crews but I also like your way with coming to help since if a person already atacked someone he/she would not be able to help

also here was one discussion about the ship it self, since if you have money what would you spent it on, so one point was to increase the level of your ship which would secure that you dont get atacked so easily

yeah and crew members can put their money together to buy new parts
could also play a role in the fights like bonuses to attack and defense

though there need to be other opportunities to gain money(berries?)
maybe some treasures to find

well it sounds great written but such a complex system would require a lot of work and engagement of the club leaders

and we also thought about it, first you could choose between Marine, Pirates and Treasure Hunter, which would be the people who could find all the treasures and earn easy money

thats the point thats why I wanted to start it and try out if there is enough interest, since we would need some more people who would then help with some parts ^^

I would most likely be closest to ehmmm... Luffy... I am always happy, cheerfull, a dumbass at times, but also smarter then at times then anyone would know... and I am also not someone that gives up when it gets tough... ^^

@Cly: Haha....there aren't that many female characters out there in One Piece I feel like....or like main female characters anyways. Lol...interesting....I don't think I have you pegged as a Luffy....those traits can suit you. :)

@ Momo and Lily, yeah, this is the new version, updated, with some new ideas added to make it more thrilling so to say, although Sora and me are still working on the finalation, adding the other levels and how much points you get from the battles and such.... so its not finalized atm...

but Sora/I wil update it when we got that going more, we are a bit dependant on activity... ^^

sorry was not online last two days much to do less time

and no no one reached level 1 yet but only because I set the points to high will change that today XD

the thing is that you won't need to tweak the levels if the activity stays like this

for the first few level I have to reduce the points I think up to the later I will increase them, with that it would be easy to get up the first few and later you have spent much more time and show that you are active in here ^^

yeah makes sense but i mean if the activity stays that way the club won't function in general

no you earn more from battles
also there is not much of an limit since for the later level you will need an huge amount of BPs to level up and we can always add new level and so on so there should not be any problems

oh right, so ehmm how does that work, and what about losing BP?!?
I mean, I would like to attack some, but rather not have them lose BP due to me trying to level... xD

if you atack someone he/she is going to loose BP, it cant be helped XD

level 0 is only here to check if someone really wants to join the club XD

also I am not sure if we should put them on randome, only thing I know if you atack a non member you dont get as much BPs as if you atack a member

ahah, okay then, but what if I for instance attack momo, who has no bp at this moment,
would that mean she has now minus 1 bp, cause then it might take her longer to get to the first rank...

and I dont want others to lose their bp at this moment, cause then maybe they wil quite going here..
cause ranking for them wil then go slower... and they arent that active already...

hope you get why it troubles me, cause I do wanna rank up due to battles,
but I dont want others to have the troubles from that...

So I think we need to rethink this system a bit...
cause if lets say a battle wil give you 1 bp and make the other lose 1, then I could beat the others lower then me..
wich is atm 4 members, to get to 6 bp... then do the same tomorrow... to get to 10 bp...
and then I could even for instance go and beat you... then it would make me go up and up...
and with that upward spiral I would get out of range from newer members...

Thus I hope you understand my concern and how I think this system could be troublesome...
specialy with them losing bp, cause then they could not get closer... even if they did battle lower ones...

So therefor I think we realy need to tweak that part of the system... ^^

I am not so sure about the "non member atacking" I mean it would be easy to just say I atack someone who is weaker then me and you get the points, it would be more fun if they are randome so if he is stronger you could loose points ^^
