"Juusoukikou Dancouga Nova ([Only registered and activated users can see links])" was an interesting Super Robot anime that is is a very recent anime from last year (2007)
It's a Sequal to an old anime from 1985, titled "Choujuu Kishin Dancougar ([Only registered and activated users can see links])"
There was also an Few others
"Dancougar - Requiem for Victims ([Only registered and activated users can see links])" (1986) (OVA)
"God Bless Dancougar ([Only registered and activated users can see links])" (1987) (OVA/Movie)
"Dancougar: Blazing Epilogue ([Only registered and activated users can see links])" (1989-1990) (OVA)
Of the ones you listed, my favorite would happen to be "Sousei no Aquarion"

Oh~~ But Gundams and Code Geass arent counted as "super robots" mainly becoz they'e more similar to military and world war. However, I do watch Code Geass and Gundams ( in fact, I LUV CODE GEASS THE MOST and currently following Gundam OO )

Thanks for the recommendation on Dancouga. I've heard of it before last year and I doubt that it would be good coz it only spins for 12 epi. Since you're supporting it, then I think I can give it a try :P
Since you know Sousei no Aquarion, what special technique you like the most? To me, I like the "Mugen no Punch" :D

I recommend Sokyu no Fafner (serious, deeper plot) and Vandread (more comedy & fanservice). U should also try some of the Gundam series, like Gundam Wing and Gundam Seed.

I agree the "Mugen no Punch" Was awesome ^.^
Rember there was 2 varients to it also, there was the "Mugen no Punch" and then there was the "Super Mugen no Punch" I believe it was called.
The first is was pretty much the extended fist punch, and the Super one is the one that Extends to great lengths and changes direction ^.^
It's been awhile sine I've seen "Sousei no Aquarion", So I can't completly remember.
I also Loved the Opening themes for "Sousei no Aquarion"
#1: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
#2: [Only registered and activated users can see links]
Aquarion in it's Final Golen Form looked awesome also ^.^
The Angel Theme entered into it also was an A+ in my book.
Only strange thing there was, that they each had an Orgasm every time the Vector's Fused, lol

How about trying Project Zeorymer? well to be honest according to someone this one is real robot(I've believed that was super.....)
Other than that, Gaogaigar FINAL and Chikyuu Bouei Kigyou Dai-Duard will be good.

Thanks for the recommendation on Sokyo no Fafner. I personally think that one of the male character (not sure whether is the main or not) looks kinda like Athrun Zala from Gundam SEED series ^_^'
About the Vandread, sorry for not mentioning it in my list, i've watched the series and it's second season Vandread: the 2nd Stage and it was wonderful coz the storyline is interesting about men and women are living separately and regard each other as enemies XD the "vandreads" are also awesome, especially Vandread Meia, i like her eagle-like design and of course, the Super Vandread, or called by Pyoro as "Vandread Pyoro" ^_^'

Haha...i see i see. Ya, the part that they each had an "Orgasm" kind of thing really made me wondering "is it really feel that good when the vectors unite? ^^
Ya, the 1st Opening "Sousei no Aquarion", i like it the MOST!!!! It's a love song specially crafted just for this wonderful anime and i've read the lyrics and it's SUPERB!!!!! The second opening didnt sound as good as the 1st one ^_^' but it's still ok :P

If you liked Top o Nerae!: Diebuster, you should track down the original - Top o Nerae:Gunbuster. One of Gainax's best works. Oh and yes episode 6 is supposed to be in black and white. That throws some people.
If you want to go back a few years, Xabungle was a lot of fun, as is it's more recent spiritual sucessor Overman King Gainer.
Aura Battler Dunbine is good for long story arcs and angst (if you like that) set in a fantasy world.
If you don't mind a less-than-serious series, NG Knight Ramune & 40 remains one of my favorites to this day. (you may want to give the sequels a miss tho)
And as other people have said, Dancouga, Code Geass, and the various flavors of Gundam come highly recommended.

Noticeably absent are the many different flavours of Gundam. ;P
Um...Gundam is about "Real Robots" (Except for G-Gundam, which is purely Super).

Bakuretsu Tenshi (Burst Angel) would be right up your alley. It's cram packed with giant robot fights.
That's the only one I can think of that others haven't already mentioned.

Gunbuster, Ninja Senshi Tobikage, RahXephon, Godannar, Genesis of Aquarion, Cybuster, Machine Robot: Revenge of Chronos, Dangaioh: Hyper Combat Unit, Dai-Guard, Dancougar Nova, Reideen.
These are hardcore Super Robots shows, examples of "Real Robots" shows are Gundam, Macross, L-Gaim, Votoms, Full Metal Panic and basically anything in which mecha are treated as mass-produced weapons, rather than super heroes or gods ....

G Gundam - Yes, it's Gundam but it's a rather super robot version. One episode has an old man jumping on bullets being shot from robots being piloted by robot zombies.
Godannar - From the signature. There's not really a villain, it's more of a giant robot sitcom. Best character in the show sadly gets little exposure and is named after the pilots of the Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger.
Gravion/Zwei - The first season is somewhat mediocre, but it's sequel more than makes up for it's predecessor's shortcomings.
Megas XLR - Screw japanimation. This Cartoon Network produced show was about a guy from New Jersey finding a gaint robot in a junkyard and customizing it to his own specifications. Has the best finishing moves of any mech ever.
Your lack of Gunbuster is also a disappointment. Why watch Diebuster but not it's gainaxing original?

Also, Gun X Sword. Dear heaven, this is one of the few animes that's actually awesome. It's a space spaghetti western with giant robots.
Points of awesomeness:
A Mexican version of GaoGaiGar piloted by the Mighty Senior Citizen Rangers.
A former prostitute piloting her giant robot with a stripper pole while saying sexual metaphors.
The villain's appearance will actually be a surprise at first.
It has only one filler episode and it's a Pulp Fiction reference.
Main character's only goal is revenge. Fuck helping people. He cares only for killing the main villain, The Claw.
Has a very disturbing episode. Buy the DVDs just to watch that.
Character designs by the guy who also did G Gundam, GaoGaiGar and Godannar.
Has good animation throughout.
FUCKWIN OPENING! No crappy japanese pop music for this. It's got it's own original theme song.

I'm really disappointed...nobody seems to know that "Super Robot" and "Real Robot" are distincts subgenres of mecha anime. rurushu only wants Super Robots series...
Character designs by the guy who also did G Gundam, GaoGaiGar and Godannar.
That is doubtable.
try code geass, its knghtmare is cool
or full metal panic, its arms slave is cool too
