Well, on some sites I've seen that they have buttons on each post that make a super mini post right below saying that "These users say thanks: ... " . They don't usually count as posts. I think this would be a nice idea here (as well as many other forums) where I would like to thank someone very much, but making a whole post with just "Thanks" or "Thanks a bunch" is really kinda spam.

They're not posts and just take up valuable space, not to mention I sometimes have to scroll through several pages of "thanks" posts just to get to/find important information (so far not much of that on this forum). I want to show my appreciation to someone but I really don't wanna spam.

Another feature is you can't see the download links unless you push the thanks button, but I think that's kinda forceful, not appreciative. There's already the registering requirement, so that's more than sufficient, and it encourages activity in this forum.

I'm not sure if it's a script or what, but I've seen it on this forum:
Anyway, just minor thing, if you might want to take it into consideration. :weddingpeach18::pushup:

It is against the rules to post other sites urls.
And that scrip we had it but it is bad scripted and it eats a lot of resources for no reason so we took it out months ago
