These are some of my favorite extensions that Ive been using for a while.
Firefox Extensions
Extensions are small add-ons that add new functionality to Firefox.
Here are some that I find useful ^^
Image Zoom
Adds zoom functionality for images
Easily zoom in, zoom out, fit image to screen or set custom zoom on individual images within a web page. All this can be done by using the context menu or a combination of mouse buttons and scroll wheel.
Handy to see the finer details of smaller pics or to make very large pics fit within your screen.

ColorZilla
Advanced Eyedropper, ColorPicker, Page Zoomer and other colorful goodies.
With ColorZilla you can get a color reading from any point in your browser, quickly adjust this color and paste it into another program. You can Zoom the page you are viewing and measure distances between any two points on the page. The built-in palette browser allows choosing colors from pre-defined color sets and saving the most used colors in custom palettes.

ScreenGrab!
Screengrab saves entire webpages as images.
It will save what you can see in the window, the entire page, just a selection, a particular frame... basically it saves webpages as images.

does anyone know any other good ones? ^^

i've tried the cooliris before. didnt really help me much but it comes in handy when you're searching for something specific on a search engine. you can move around the site that you're previewing too. it opens easily but also closes easily so a simple mistake and it closes.
I'll just post what I use and what I like,
Adblock plus
Ever been annoyed by all those ads and banners on the internet that often take longer to download than everything else on the page? Install Adblock Plus now and get rid of them.
Right-click on a banner and choose "Adblock" from the context menu - the banner won't be downloaded again. Maybe even replace parts of the banner address with star symbols to block similar banners as well. Or you select a filter subscription when Adblock Plus starts up the first time, then even this simple task will usually be unnecessary: the filter subscription will block most advertisements fully automatically.

Inserts preview images (thumbnails) of web sites and Amazon products into the Google and Yahoo search results pages. When you use GooglePreview and click on an Amazon link within the search results, you support me and the further development of the extension and back end if you actually purchase a product. The GooglePreview thumbnail system currently consists of 5 dedicated servers and generates 4.5 TB of traffic per month.

No Script
Winner of the "2006 PC World World Class Award", this tool makes Firefox the safest browser around.
Winner of the "2006 PC World World Class Award", this tool provides extra protection to your Firefox.
It allows JavaScript, Java and other executable content to run only from trusted domains of your choice, e.g. your home-banking web site, and guards the "trust boundaries" against cross-site scripting attacks (XSS).
Such a preemptive approach prevents exploitation of security vulnerabilities (known and even unknown!) with no loss of functionality...
Experts do agree: Firefox is really safer with NoScript ;-)

Fasterfox allows you to tweak many network and rendering settings such as simultaneous connections, pipelining, cache, DNS cache, and initial paint delay.
Dynamic speed increases can be obtained with the unique prefetching mechanism, which recycles idle bandwidth by silently loading and caching all of the links on the page you are browsing.
A popup blocker for popups initiated by Flash plug-ins is also included.

Firefox Universal Uploader (fireuploader)
As the name says, this firefox extension allows you to upload/download files from any website using a friendly interface. Upload files/photos/videos to Flickr, Picasa, Youtube, Box.net(1GB of free space) are Facebook in this version. Next versions would support other websites like Google Videos, Webshots etc. You can add multiple files to the queue at a time. Extension will take care of uploading them for you.
There are so many instances where you had to upload files from your local computer to a website. The standard upload mechanism in any website has many limitations like
**They allow you to upload 1 file or a maximum of 10 files at a time.
**They doesn't show any information like upload progress i.e how much was already uploaded and how much is still remaining.
This extension addresses these limitations by providing a intuitive way to upload the files. The benefits of using this extension are
*It shows the local folders and remote folders which enables you to upload files by single click.
*You can upload any number of files at a time.
*You can upload files to multiple websites using a single interface (using only one extension).
*Ability to add multiple accounts and upload files to each account independently.
*Site specific features are also included and will be improved in the coming versions. eg. Box.net: giving public/private access to files.
