Well iv used both but i steel cant choose but overall photoshop is obviously better.

i'd go for photoshop, more versatile and its a very good graphics program...

I prefer photoshop for animation reasons and also it's very flexible and easy to use

I'd go for GIMP mainly because I know most of the keyboard shortcuts and I am used to them so switching at this point would be a pain. However I have close to no experience with PS so I can't really say....

I voted for photoshop, even tho I use GIMP.
I still like GIMP better, but PS can do more things with less customization.
If you get enough plugins and scripts for gimp there basically the same, you just gotta find them.
