For most women, the mans appearence is not what keeps them coming back to him, it's his personality. Sure their appearence may at first make the women apprehensive to go and talk to him, but afterwards when the ice is broken, and another stereotype myth of either skinny or fat people is broken, they look more at the man's personality. It's contreversial as men look at the women's appearence rather then personality.

I disagree, I think it's the same in both cases, atleast for me it is. While appearance is the most important thing at first (how do you judge someone's personality if you've never talked with them?) if the girl is a bitch/I just don't like her why would I bother with her?

They prefer neither of those two types you listed.

i've dates with both types.. chubby and skinny ones- whatever is healthy
i don't mind some lb -- but obese.. isn't a healthy guy.. which means.. he doesn't take care of himself-- and that is also a mirrow of your personality.. how much you love yourself or take care of yourself

i'm going to assume you mean choosing which one to approach given a choice with no knowledge of personality/status. presented with such...gloomy options, i'd back off and let them make an approach so i can gauge personality instead of showing a preference.
those two are extreme sides of the spectrum though and both can indicate serious health issues...
