The females that I've talked to have told me that clitoral stimulation whilst penetrating adds a boosted amount of pleasure. Not sure if it'd lead to an orgasm, for a different person comes different techniques.
Why fake an orgasm? I'd say a woman may do it to not bruise their sexual/lovers partners ego.

faking orgasm is for two reasons. partner's ego and porno flicks.
i haven't needed to fake an orgasm yet for some unknown (yet highly appreciated) reason, my bf pays a lot of attention to making me orgasm, even after he's done.

I'd say this is a pretty bad solution, in the long run.

Fake an orgasm? Uhhh not sure why I would fake it, or even how to properly to fake it. But I don't see much reason unless you want the guy to feel better or what not. I'm just lucky because the guy I did it with was quite unselfish. He made me orgasm over four times before letting himself orgasm.

From what I heard, some women just don't get enought out of vaginal intercourse to make them come. Some require oral attention, or even a vibrator to orgasm. This isn't necessarily because her partner is inadequate, some women just don't respond as easily.
