View Full Version : Resident Evil: Degeneration!!!
I almost cried when I saw the trailer on the Resident Evil: Extinction dvd.
That plain and simple fact that Claire Redfield is in it! OMG! She is my all time favorite character from the RE franchise. To see here in this new CGI Movie being made...you get the picture I'm sure.
So appearently the main characters are Leon and Claire. This movie is taking place 1 year after Ashley Graham was kidnapped. Which tells me that this film will probably explain a few things before the release of Resident Evil 5 for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Think about it, why wasn't Leon the main character in the 5th game? It's Chris, but why not Leon? Perhaps this new CGI film will tell us that. Also, look at Claire being in it. Claire might explain why Chris is the main character in Resident Evil 5.

it has been so long since i wished for a CG movie of Resident Evil, and it looks good!, hope it is released, not like that other movie about some unknown mercenaries and shitty animation =S
i hope this CG movie is a lot better than the movies series...which i didn't like that much.

How can you hate Wesker he one of my favorite bad guys. Also the live action ones weren't that great, expect for the second since it had Nemesis (my favorite zombie). Other than that the live action movies were ok at best.

because even in the sword fighting in Adcent Children its hard to find any bloody n gory scene except the one when Sephiroth stabbed Cloud's shoulder.. thats why i hope to see the red oozy blood in this one... hopefully..

Oh.... I would like blood oozing out from the zombies when Leon do some head shots. XD I guess I did too many head shots when I played RE2 and RE4 (the worst is getting chased by those axe-like parasites)

Interesting. I saw the movies and they were good. Nice they are making a CG based. This will definitely be something worth watching.

Best way to capture the game feel.
This movie is gonna feel more like resident evil games.

Same here but I hope that at least some of the people in the film put up a fight against the zombies. It gets tiring just seen people just getting over run by zombies without making some damage.

You cannot stop an giant zombie horde but since it's in cgi, there are probably gonna make an giant fight scene where the mains character are gonna kick some ass

Nice, but this film as a double edge. Sure it will be worth watching, but it will tease me that there hasn't been a resident evil game for a away:iamdead:

Advent Children was pg-13, was it. beside, it suppose to be anime-ish anyway...(Omnislash. no blood. what?)
Anyway, hope this movie is good (RE4's story was horrible)

I'm a great fan for the series but as a fan I still have respect for the films. I don't care what they did or didn't do in the films compared to the games. I still found the movies grand because it had the "Resident Evil" concept to it. An evil company creates a virus that...etc. etc.

this could turn out to be pretty decent...however, the graphics on that movie didnt seem to be anything to be floundering about...it seemed to be kinda ordinary to me...
i guess it would be interesting though, to see how the directors string a new plot around to make it work.

REsident evil games are the best of capcom but the films are horrible, dont' follow the game plot and alice doesn't appear in any game

I don't see the problem with the hollywood films, sure they didn't stick to the game very much but thats pretty much the only thing wrong with it.
Maybe if it wasn't titled resident evil then it wouldn't have been bashed so much...

I saw this movie and they were, as expected, 90 very nice mins.
Surprisingly it was also dubbed in Italian, though the voices were worse than the originals heard in the RE videogames...

I loved this movie - The DVD extras were hilarious too; they were a nice bonus.
