hiyas

a friend of mine got me into naruto (the anime) a while ago and i loved it.
since then ive read bleach, love hina, and two volumes of samurai champloo

was just wondering if anyone could recommend any particular manga for me to read next

also, is it worth reading the pre- shippuden naruto manga (ive being reading it since shippuden, when i realised the manga was less time consuming then the anime + its ahead of the anime) if ive already seen the anime?

and does anyone know if there's anymore samurai champloo manga being made? or was it just the two volumes. (if it helps at all, the covers of the volumes i have are, one has a red theme with mugen on the front, and the other has a blue theme with jin)

cheerios

ps. cool forum (lots of lil these thingys :beautifu2: that i havent seen before)

It seems you are leaning toward more an ecchi or Shounen type manga series. Kekkaishi is becoming a trend. Hatsukoi Limited (done by the same author as Ichigo 100%) for ecchiness. Monster for more pyschological action. Godchild + Cain Saga is recommended.

You should try Mahou Sensei Negima, which done by the same mangaka as Love Hina. Basically its Love Hina + Harry Potter :kukukuh:

I agree with Yuusuke, if you like Samurai Champloo you'll probably like comedy+action mangas like Rave Master and Fairy Tail (both by the same mangaka, but if you ask, I think Fairy Tail is better)

As for mainstream shounen mangas like Naruto and Bleach, I'd recommend D.Grayman, One Piece, and FMA (Full Metal Alchemist)

If you like lighthearted borderline ridiculous school mangas like Love Hina, give School Rumble a shot too

I'd say full metal panic and full metal alchemist (not related stories) though I haven't found much of the full metal panic manga.
Also Superior is a very good manga imo. Together with ID both are fantasy.

other popular manga's are Histories Strongest Diciple Kenishi and rosario+vampire.

If your into shounen I recommend

Flame Of Recca(might be one of the best shounen ever right on par with HunterxHunter)

HunterXHunter(this blows Naruto,Bleach,One Piece out of the water)

Fairy tail(its just starting but its already awesome its made by the same guy as Rave master)

Claymore(The series is just awesome)

Negima(its a mix of fanservice, harem, and shounen whats not to like..made by the same person who made Love hina)

D.Grayman(its awesome another series thats just as popular like Naruto and Bleach...ROAD-SAMA :JFBQ00209070429A:)

All these series are awesome :yociexp61:

I am a huge naruto fan and just read the last 90 something chapters of claymore and it is awesome but one drawback they only release a new chapter ONCE A MONTH woulda been nice to know b4 i got hooked i will probably try some of the ones recommended by tvesrby and let you know i usually read about 40-50 chapters a night unless they r unusually long yes i know it does take a long time to read that many so don't think im lying i usually spend 4 -5 hours b4 i actually go to bed so they can sink in ....
