Who else is bored in class?

So it's my first class for Operating System for the semester and I'm already dying in it... I hated computer architecture last semester and this was just about the same thing. So I thought I'd drop by and see who else is bored in class and looking at the nihono forums...

I wouldn't say it's the greatest thing to go to a school that requires you to rent their laptops but it sure knows how to distract haha

Back in high school I use to get bored very easy. So one way i started to have fun was doing a command in windows 98 called con/con. It crashed the computer. So when the teacher came by I would do it on my laptop and be like oh no all my work. lol Then I found out if you knew someones IP you could crash there computer with the command. I guess thats where I had the most fun. But I only learned bad things. Well yeah bad things. ^^ That was before they had the internet blocked from all the fun sites. =P

I pay too much money to be bored in college. But High school did put me to sleep.

i attended like 50% of my classes last semester
one of the classes i did attend i didn't pay attention in because i watched a friend play flash games

they were boring classes, where two of the teachers couldn't teach.
my time was better spent playing guitar hero >_>;


i did better in the classes i skipped than the one i didn't pay attention in >_<

what i learned: don't bother going to class if you don't pay attention (unless you are some kind of robot who can learn from listening to talking in the background)

First of all let me explain the following.

From my sixt year till my 14th year I have been busy with repairing computers... Reïnstalling reconfiguring etc... Even pulling network cables while I was 10 years old :)
Then I got to middle school (we have a different educational route). I was 13 years old when I entered and 17 when I left. During that time I did almost nothing in class. Just some sleeping and entertaining other people. Just sucking at everything. English, Dutch, Chemistry, Biology, PE just name it. Except for math and IT.

I have known from when I was 7 that I wanted to go into the IT business. And thus I went to college when I was 17. Low class college is something I must say. One of the lowest that is possible. And I am still following it.

But here is the fun part. Seeïng that I already have like 10 years experiance with computers I had a giant leap. The first year we got server's... I did that already when I was 16... So it was old for me. I already setup a complete business network for a printing company... So why should I learn that... I just hated school. But I am seeïng it as a leap forward to a higher education. Then the second year... PHP programming... Hell I did it when I was 17 one year back in the trainee ship period... PHP Master level trainee ship... So if I could not program PHP then I would have to be ashamed becaus of myself.

Thirth year... Graduation... They have known it. Linux... Well good thing that I was goofing around with Linux in the first and second year :).. Hell I got way to much free time those days...

Now the next level of the lower education... Level 4. Now I am again at the graduational type... And trust me IT SUCKS HARD...

People with no sense at all nor experiance nor knowledge are able to pass the exams... Hell if I never learned a thing at school or at home I could still pass it.


I am always facing the world with logical senses. And I have yet to be broken by it.
But this time a real change formed in front of me... An european competition. And I am busy with learning for that one and training myself... So eventually I have finally something fun to do. A game of sience a game of teamwork etc. It is something that I must be able to win with common sense and logic. Add teamwork to it and you are bound to end high. And with some knowledge added you can end really high.

That is the callenge I am working on now :) And believe it or not, but the school is ashamed now that they did not let me go free after whining so much about the level of education...

I find that sudoku can make even the 9:00 AM classes much more interesting. It's pretty rare for me to skip class, as death by scantron is too common at my school, but I do what I can to get by. My old roommate, an engineer, used to take a Sprite bottle filled with Vodka to all his classes until he realized what poor taste he was showing. Now he just takes his hip-flask.

Lol, i spend my time in class makin paper aeroplanes and floating them to the otherside of the class, i can't quite keep my mind on the wireless networking protocols that the professor is talking about. Otherwise, i m at the bak of the class fast asleep hoping the professor doesnt see me... Just wish attendance wasnt important in the grade.

I get SRSLY bored in class. Sometimes, I can barely keep my eyes open.

But I can't afford to sleep. Cuz the teachers target those who look sleepy, etc.
