I just started watching this show and I like it so far. The original movie is one of my favorites and I didn't even know that a show was out for it. The art is really to my liking and the story is pretty good so far. Hopefully it just keeps getting better as I watch it.

It was a great series but after the 1/2 point, the plot started to slow down to me; with detours and such making it prolonged...

I agree, and it's a pity a lot of anime go down that road. Still I kinda liked the ending.

This anime is just this: dark

I like it verry much. But when I saw the Movie (Blood the last Vampire) I was somehow suprised. (The Movie is much worse I think. Series 8/10 and Movie 1/10)

Well from the movie to the series, the storyline and graphics highly improved.

I think that Blood+ is one of the better series I've watched. Most of the scenes are highly emotional and the music that plays is really good. The storyline and character development weren't the best but they weren't too bad either.

Yeah blood is awesome,and Saya is so kawaii! :)
But the only thing that pisses me off is the end.
She goes of to sleep and thats that! ... no closure,and i never understood why saya didn't die from Diva's blood ...
But overall,twas a good anime.Hmmm,maybe a 2nd series would be nice,i mean Saya has to wake up in another 30years ...

as i understand it Deva's blood lost something when she had the twins so it was not able to kill says. what upsets me more is the way Sony is treating anime fan with the release of the sets or lack there of.

I really like the story , original for me , full of action , love , comedy , drama , hot guys :mlfy: anything u'd want ^^
After watching the 1st episode i couldn't let it down and watched the hole series in 2 or 3 days if i remember it well.Of course my fav character is Hagi , i like those calm , cold guys very much and his realtionship with Saya seemed to be more then Master and Slave ^^ [or that's what i wanna think].
When i first saw Hagi i thought he's one of the bad guys , but glad it wasn't like that and their bery first kiss was great.
It's tragic to see those humans become monsters , i found it sad but the 'bloody scenes' were done great!

The characters...I would have like Riku to not have that fate , he was a really good kid and Kai...well after he was separated from Saya became a nice and responable man , but she changed to much...
Another character that i fall for was Solomon , who can u not love him , he was so gentle [ i really cryed at the end] , but i have to admit that chevalier's appearence was ewww!

For Diva i felt sorry , she was lonely and had a cruel fate , she only wanted to be loved , at least her children survieved ^^

As for the ending...that definitely screams for a 2nd season!

Blood +...... hmm the opening song was nice Aozoro no namida heard it like a hundred times. Its not a bad anime though just not for people full of sunshine. Unless they love it too.

i don't think there's a movie for blood+ is there? if there is i'm gonna go check it out. i loved this anime series and i watched it over a couple of times. i'm definitely a hagi and saya coupling fan. the adventure and bond they share is just so wonderful.

Blood+ and Blood the last vampire are the same but a little different. Blood+ was based on the movie and there are a few descrepencies in the series. I liked it at the beginning but the ending.....that needed some work. Saya goes to sleep!?! That just means they need to make a new series. Especially since that Divas kids are born.

i hate how we dont find out that the queens blood becomes impotent after childbirth. and how saya simply sleeps to end the series, they left the matter of her nieces completely untouched. her whole point was to end the cycle, not allow it to be perpetuated. it makes me almost wish for another season.

This show was very stretched out.. The plot was kinda obvious half way in, alot of stereotypical characters, animation was kinda lame, the music were repetitive..

When I finally finished watching Blood+, I could totally with agree to anyone who who would say this anime has an ufathomable plot. This one deserves a sequel,, hmm or atleast a prequel.. (the saya that has been for the past generations, i wanna see it)

I like Blood+. It was really dark, and had a pretty cool storyline. Haji was my favorite character from that show.

lol it was a cello. As far as I'm concerned, I could finish or not finish this anime. There was no attachment I could make with it, no emotional investment at all in its characters. On top of that, like it was been said already, it was so stretched out that I just said screw it halfway in.

I liked the anime a lot better than the manga. Good points: interesting plot, complex characters that make an impression, healthy dosage of beautifully animated action and impressive soundtrack (I adore Diva’s theme song). On the downside: too long without shading much light on the origins and purpose of Saya and her kind, the ending didn’t seem like a conclusion but more like a teaser for what’s to come- there was no sense of closure.
