I would prefer cooking for my other rather than them cook for me. I got into and argument with my ex over whether or not she would let me cook and do at least some of the house chores and stuff...... I got a big no. I love cooking and cleaning, iz fun.

Personally I prefer it 50-50. I love cooking. But also, I don't always want to be the one that makes dinner, and lunch, and breakfast on the rare times I actually have breakfast. It's tiring. I prefer the 'give a little, get a little' kind of relationship. I cook, he cleans up afterward, and vice versa. It goes a long way toward a harmonious home life. Of course, this is from the living together perspective.

If we're not living together then I'm more likely to cook for him for the hell of it anyway. It's something I do very well, and I'm probably trying to make an impression on him. If he wants to cook for me, that's fine too.

I'm not big into gender roles. I don't really care who does what so long as it gets done.
