After watching the first desire was to test plot against the facts of reality. I found that all the retro comments in the film are real. So besides incredible sense in Lane also astonishingly mature plot

as for SEL... i liked it quiet a lot, it is quiet a weird and a hard to crack anime - but watching it over again really clear things out, aswell as opens new things.
its psychodalic - and there arent many like it - i liked it :)

i loved this anime. the art, the story, everything was amazing. i really like it when stuff that involves the internet and makes you think like this. for people who liked lain i would recomend boogiepop phantom, it is similar.

this is one of those very complex anime...i got the whole series but stopped at eps 6. since i didn't know what were going on. i'll try to watch it again later

maybe i am just an idiot, but there was a lot in the series i did not get, and as such was not able to finish it at all. since then this series has haunted my brain, im willing to give it another shot, do any of you guys have a good link for downloading it?

Don't understand the story, but makes me starring electric line pole longer than usual since then^^

Abe is a genius, many his other works including texhnolyze that i like, unfortunately i don't understand the stories in any of them^^

Lain is one of my favourite anime. The plot's just so unique and very hard to understand for some people. Not to mention that the anime got me into cyberpunk.

Ah what a great series!
It was one of the first anime I ever bought. Found it in a local game shop and picked it up. Loved the whole series and still remains a favorite.
The one episode where Lain's image is portrayed through the clouds as a god is still one of the freakiest scenes I ever seen.
