Hopefully someone here can help me... XD I've tried asking elsewhere but didn't get it resolved. :(

My problem is:

I can open a document or image in my photoshop cs2 but I can't see it at all (meaning I can't really edit it).

Here's an image to help make it more easy to understand.

You tried to reinstall CS2 already?

Yes, several times already and this is what keeps happening each time. I just can't see it. >_< It was working fine a while ago, but this problem suddenly cropped up overnight and I couldn't do anything since...Meaning I've been going nuts with this issue for like almost two weeks now. T_T

When you start cs2 try to hold Alt + Ctrl + Shift ...this usually removes all weird behavior like this

and if that doesn't work click ctrl+k (i assume you have windows from the pic) and the prference window will appear there hold down the alt and you will see that the cancel option will be reset then click it and hopefully you will have no problem

BTW you have full hd monitor and you uses ps cs2???

what it did is it restored all the preferences and modifications to it original state and thats why it worked...a rather common issue in cs2

no but it is a sad thing to waste something like this monitor on an obsolete program....have you tried cs5 it is by far the most powerful photo edit i seen (in the past gimp, photo impact, xara and cs4 were all equal but not any more.....cs5 have such new features like smart filler, pin tool, dynamic set of brushes that you can paint over your pic to see it as if they were oil paintings and many more)

go to adobe and download the a trial version and you will see the difference just by zooming in only

CS2 has its advantages since Adobe started to really cut down several functions starting with CS3

Anyway, glad it worked

Yes, I've tried out cs5. A really great new edition to the photoshop world, but I can do without it. Too expensive and it's not like I need it... XD

Yeah, I know. They most likely download them online and use keygens/cracks and such to bypass the serial code and stuff...

Actually not all, Normally they satisfied with their own currently version.

Example i have original psd .. my psd is old version what i never bought a new version. Im ok with it, i can do all i want. And well Im not working professionally anyway. xD

And i know people what work with gfx that still using psd 7.0 and doing amazing stuffs. So probably because that Hitagi said, that they are not that worry for new versions. =)

Ah, I see. I guess I misinterpreted what Hitagi meant.
