View Full Version : Good swordfighting anime? Suigintou 12-21-2007, 07:18 PM I'm looking for a good sword fighting anime OTHER THEN bleach or ruro-kenshin. I've seen and loved them both. Hopefully, there is a good balance of comedy along with the fighting. The action is fast paced and "realistic" yet the animation and attention to detail when they swing and parry is very high quality. Fate/Stay Night is another good anime, but compared to the first 2, less focus on actual sword duels, with only a few worthwhile sword scenes. Claymore is pretty good, but the manga is much better and it is more of a swordsmen-vs- monsters anime, i.e. minimal sword duels. It's got great animation, comedy, action, and even the voice actors for the english dub are great. I wish more awesome animes like this would come around.
