anyone seen Gundam Wing the anime and the movie Endless Waltz?
i have seen gundam seed destiny and i loved it
soi want to know if it is worth watching

I dont understand your last question? Anyway this is a classic anime and the dub is good quality for once. The only disappointment was that they didn't bring of the Relena Peacecraft ED from the Japanese side. I love that ED.

Gundam Wing is one of the animes I watched on Toonami on cartoon network. I love it and think its really cool. Endless Waltz is even cooler...so yes I'd suggest getting on to the watchin :-D.

Gundam Wing was the first series I watched which I thought was pretty awesome at the time and especially it being dubbed. Zechs and Treize ftw. The thing I like most about endless waltz is that they made it look really good with better animation than from the series.

Yeah! Gundam Wing is the first ever Gundam series I've ever watched.

If you like this, then I definitely recommend you get the G-Unit series. They're like the Astray series of SEED, where the story is set in the same time as SEED(like a background story). You should also get the manga series set between the anime and Endless Waltz. It's titled Gundam Wing Blind Target.

I've seen both English and Japanese versions of Gundam Wing and the Japanese is better..

I watched Gundam Wing long after it aired on cartoon network and sometime during GSDs initial run. To be honest, I wasnt all too impressed. The storyline seemed kind of dull to me. Really, Endless Waltz was the best thing about it. Better designed mechs, better animation (but then it was a movie after all.....). Dont get me wrong, Im not saying you shouldnt watch it. I just mean that to me it wasnt nearly as good as the CE universe. If you really want to watch a good Gundam series, I recommend Gundam X.

Gundam Wing was a great series, it was one of the first anime I watched as a child, and of course the first Gundam series. Other than Wing I'm not sure if I have seen any other Gundam series to the end....

Endless Waltz was also nice, all the custom Gundams are awesome...

gundam wing came on after dbz on toonami when i was growing up. Recently rewatched the series. Fan of it, i think its very good. English isn't bad, some of the lines gave me goosebumps :p

Gundam Wing was my second anime ever and I seriously still love it. Duo was the first boy I ever thought was cool and hot (no kidding :P ) I actually don't like mech anime, but Gundam Wing has a FANTASTIC story! Honestly, I didn't like Gundam Seed or Seed Destiny, though I gave them a chance and at least watched (most of) Seed. It's still funny to see old 80's/90's fashion, like guys in short shorts XD

Let me explain, it reused animation to an unacceptable level, Shin magically LOST the main character position, Kiras return made him untouchable, because yknow, not piloting for 2 years and having an old mobile suit TOTALLY makes for awesome pilot material, they butchered Cagali, Kira SHOULD BY ALL RIGHTS HAVE DIED AT ONE POINT! (it would have only been an improvement), Kira was one of the biggest problems with the series.

That's called depth. The characters weren't cookie cutter retards like most of the Gundam characters (besides Char.)

This was my 2nd mecha anime, after I saw Evangelion, which I liked more. Personally, I think this series would have been much better if they had not allowed the female characters to talk, because their dialogue was horrible, but that's just me. :/

It was an amazing series back in it's time.
Though after going back to rewatch it as a teenager, compared to when I watched it as a little kid, I must admit, the series is definitely much slower paced than I had originally remembered.

That doesn't detract from it's awesomeness at all though.
It's still a great series worth looking into.
Much better than Destiny ever will be.

Also, Gundam Seed Destiny sucked. Gundam Seed was amazing though.

You've got it the other way around.

Destiny has absolutely nothing on Wing.

Let me explain why Destiny is absolute garbage.

-Shin was a disappointing character to say the least. His story was supposed to have made the audience sympathize with him, but in all honesty, it just makes him look more like a crybaby emo kid.
-They butchered every single character from the original Gundam Seed line. Kira was made an untouchable hacker, with a 100% plot rigged mobile suit by the end (Seriously, not even a scratch against the Legend, the Providence's successor, when the Providence nearly destroyed the original Freedom), and was just damned untouchable.
Cagalli was made useless, compared to her awesome, rude, obnoxious, yet still lovable character from SEED, Athrun became a traitor x2, but this time, his reasons didn't make any sense.

I could go on about characters butchered from the original, but I won't.
-The plot was ridiculously stupid. In the middle of the show, the main character, and focus spins from Shin of ZAFT, to Kira. Kira and the rest of the "good guy" casts' reasons for fighting were incredibly selfish and unreasonable.
-Fight scenes were recycled from like, episode 7 onwards. Not acceptable in any means. At least with SEED, fight scenes only began being recycled around the late 30s or so.

Honestly, I could go on about how Destiny is complete and utter garbage, but I won't.

However, there were a few good things to come out of Destiny. Those being the suit designs for the Akatsuki, Infinite Justice, and Destiny.

Gundam wing has been my favorit so far and I been into gundam when it frist started. It has a good story to and is worth it. A friend of mine is anti-gundam like it so I would say give it a try.

i've seen the 1st 2 volumes and i liked it. heck i've got a gundam wing wall scroll hanging in my room. funny thing is when i bought that i'd never seen gundam wing i just though it looked cool.
