Anyone seen this film/ How did you react to it? Did you like it better than the novel? I personally like the novel better than the film.

Legend is really really good. A lot of dark stuff jumping out at you, so be ready to get startled. That said, the ending kind of disappointed me, but the whole movie was awesome :-D

I read what the novel was about and was disappointed at the movie for not being faithful to the novels ending. If the wikipedia about the I Am Legend novel is accurate, I think Ill just go and buy a copy from amazon. It sounds a lot better then the movie was...

I am Legend is a remake of the old film Omega man, based off the short story with the same name. I saw it a few days ago, and it's very good, good acting and everything.

I thought the movie was pretty good, but the rest of the movie after the dog died wasn't very good in my opinion.

The book had a very different ending, so maybe thats why i was disappointed. I was expecting the book ending to be used instead. All in all wasn't really worth my movie ticket, should have rented the movie or something instead.

There's a novel? BTW hitman wasn't as good as I had hoped. I haven't seen the trailer but from what I've read of the synopsis, it sounds like an american version of 28 days later...

I always like Will Smith and all of his work. I Am Legend is great movie to watch with good storyline although I was hoping it follow the original novel. The ending kind of sad though.

If they want to design a zombie, try learn from RE and ressurrect another Nemesis.

Wow. This was an amazing film. I haven't read the novel, but I don't think I could. This film was much too depressing for me. I got moaned at for crying too loud in the cinema >.<!!

Lame movie. If it didn't have Will Smith, I wouldn't have watched it. Reeks of Resident Evil too much, the beginning was boring, the middle was without point and the ending was disappointing.

It would've been a lot better if (from my point of view):

*in the beginning, they concetrated more on his daily actions and less on him feeling sorry for himself.

*they should've left the dog! Till teh end! The dog was a quite good character, and, in my opinion, too good to be killed as any mionor character.

*in the middle, the girl didn't have "visions" of that colony and knew about it from somewhere else. It could've been a fine "alternate future" movie, but noez, they had to put in supernatural stuff.

*the house, they broke in way too easily. Could've been extended.

*lame speech in the end ("I can cure you all", or something). You don't preach to crocodiles in a pond if you have at least some brains... and after surviving for so long, Will Smith's character should've had some.



The story had some potential, but the delivery failed....

I actually thought that the idea of showing the psychological effects on a person in having to live by him/herself was very interesting. But this movie isn't like Resident Evil if u know what i mean. None of those serious fighting scenes - not really action packed. So if u don't like the idea then i suggest not to watch it otherwise u might get bored! lol
