which one should i buy 360 or ps3?

In terms of the system itself, ps3 is better but they are still quite similar and the 360 is a bit cheaper than the ps3.

Right now, 360 has alot of good games now while ps3 has almost none but they are getting good games in the future MGS4 and FFXIII.

too bad the only one that i can afford (eventually) is the 40 gb ps3 which is 399, this one lacks the backwards capability so it cant play ps1 or ps2 games.

Well not that it really matter i'll just hook up my ps2 if i ever wanted to play and that.

I also heard the graphics are horrible if you play them in the ps3 as well as loads of errors and glitches

just wait for a while (like in a span of a few months or years) and go with the ps3. There will definitely be more games for the ps3. PS3 can play all of the ps1 and ps2 games so you have a huge library of games to choose from. In my place, xbox360 games are super rare and some of the games are not quite fun to play.

PS3 will prove better on the long run. God of War 3+Kingdom Hearts 3 should be enough of a reason to buy it anyway. The 360 came out earlier so it will also die earlier. Look at the original xbox, while it had some successful titles, it never outsold or outclassed the ps2.

Don't listen to anyone in this thread. The PS3 is a piece of shit. So far, a lot of 3rd party developers have dropped out of exclusivity for the system. There's rumors flying around that MGSIV won't even be exclusive anymore.

The 360's Library is a lot better. Dead Rising, Bioshock etc. The Orange box is multiplatform, but I know from personal experience that the PS3 prt of the game is utter crap. In many areas of the games the framerate drops to nearly unplayable levels.

I went with the 360, simply because it seemed like a safer choice. It has sold well, plenty of good games, and lots of support. The PS3 may pull ahead in the long run, but thats just speculation based on games that haven't come out...and thats a half a thousand dollar risk. <.<

? Did you mean buy a 360? I say go for the 360 right now. Its got better online features and a more solid game library. However, you should definately pick up a PS3 in the future as its game library is really starting to get good and the online will only get better aswell. I have both and can say that you'll be happy regardless of your decision the best thing to do is just weigh up the games and buy the system that has more of the games that you want.

600-700$ Xbox360: 120GB or 20GB HDD, maybe HDMI, maybe Wifi?, 50$ for online 14months, POSSIBLE HD-DVD drive (or +200$ for external, if not elite xbox360), 3 usb ports

400$ Ps3: No wifi, 20GB HDD, no Ps2 Support, 2 or 4 USB ports, Blu-ray player, HDMI, Free online

600$ Ps3: Wifi, 60GB or 80GB HDD, Card Reader, Blu-ray player, HDMI, Free online

Last I checked, final fantasy 11 is on 360 but I doubt that counts. As for Devil may Cry um......yeah, thats on 360 too folks. As for metal gear, I can personally live without it. I played the first one a few years back and wasnt too impressed. And, even though Im not a fan of the series, GTA 4 will have exclusive episodic content for 360 (you know...whenever that game actually comes out).

yeah but still is more likely that harvest moon will come out in the ps than in the xbox, and also banjo kazooie isnt that great, at least for me, about fable and halo, yeah they are great games... and also its true that xbox360 is better than ps3...for now, cuz a lot of great exclusive games will only be for ps3 and not xbox360, which list is smaller than ps3s.........
