Question.
When i made my account I wanted to use another nickname, but unfortunately that name was taken so used this one instead.
How often are nicknames/accounts removed from forum?
If its somewhat often would gladly wait a little for the nick I want to be available again OR if possible when name is available switch everything this name has to the new one :wakuwaku:

Unfortunatnly there isn't any removal, even for inactive members, becasue who knows, they may come back...
even if they only have 1 post...
Anyways, just make due with what name u can use.

How bout doing a name-change service? If a member is inactive for about...perhaps 3 months than someone could request that username. Because, wouldn't it suck if someone active wanted a namechange with a username and the person hasn't been active for months?

yea, but what if they come back some time in the future...
I've gone away from places for months at a time, then becasue of events, I just happen to return to that forum. If some1 else took my name in the meantime, then that sould suck.

Well, I would assume they would make a new account? Or try recovering and the email will tell them the new account :P?

there is a way to change display name but katie don't have that add on

Maeking accounts ar easy though. It shouldn't take long. Besides, if the person isn't active for at least 6 months, I don't they would come back. Probably downloads if they do. if a member is leaving for a period of time, how about just contacting an admin.

the add on for name change should work with thes forum softwear butim not sure
