I watch this without knowing the story from the previous Pirates movie but i can say that this movie ROCK!:em001: Just got to love those ship battle scenes.:em0160: Not forgetting those funny part of the movie...:em0128:

Ok... i just watch the 1st one, it's GREAT! But i still love the fighting scene in this 3rd one...
The most memorial part of the 1st one is when Jack is approching and looking through his telescope, which later when down to his ship to... lol, i don't want to say in detail but i think you guys knew...

The first is the best! This is nice too, but it's a little confused and so rapid! Calypso disappear in a moment and nobody talks about her!

I thought it was a great movie, but I got a question. Did anyone stay after the credits to see the bonus scene where Will comes back to see his family?

Before I saw the movie, I only saw POTC: And The Curse of The Black Pearl. I haven't saw the second one, but wow! What a movie POTC: At World's End! ^O^

I only saw it the once when it first came out. It was all right, but it's not something I really want to see again anytime soon.

I'm still waiting to see this one. When it came out in theaters, I hadn't gotten around to seeing the first two, and by the time I did, it had left the theaters.

The first movie was great, the second movie was only really half a movie, leaving more things open for the third movie than it concluded... every piece of the story was left open at the end. The third movie, though, I thought was fantastic. Better action than the original with just as much humor.

This movie was good; the first was better. The reason I say so, is that they seemed to depart from the general feel of 'this is a pirate movie' as the series went on.
The first one, it was PIRATES chasing PIRATES and hiring PIRATES to run a PIRATE SHIP. All the other stuff, yes even the little bit of magic, was very secondary. It was all about the PIRATES.
The second movie, it was basically the devil coming to collect a debt from a PIRATE, and summoning a sea monster to help him do so. Other PIRATES help/hurt the one with a debt, and a woman *SPOILERS* him.
The third movie? All about magic. The chairman/owner/whatever of the East India Trading company has effectively stolen the devil's soul, and is using it to wipe out PIRATES, who fight back with the help of a magic woman. Stuff happens, we get a new devil, movie ends. A fair movie in it's own right, but it hardly fits the title 'PIRATES of the Caribbean'.

I liked the entire series. It did take a radical turn after the first one towards heavy fantasy, maybe a bit too fantastic, but it was still an enjoyable series.

LOVE IT!!! It's Orlando Bloom n Johnny Deep!! What more do i have to say? Everything about it was perfect! Love the fight scenes n it was hilarious. But of course if i have to rank the 3 movies then the first would've been the best n the third as second. But still what a story! A nice way to end.

many ppl says the 1st part is better than this one, but i enjoyed this one...for me, this movie contain the best battle scenes, especially the last battle...
and the ending was good too...
but what i don't like is...why did chow yun fat in that movie defeated so easily???
btw, for me...1-3 all of em are equally good

Firstly, the place with all those chinese pirates. It is definitely not Singapore. Ive lived in Singapore for some time, and its definitely not at all like how they depict it in the movie. But all in all great movie? im gonna say its the most confusing of the trilogy, but im a fan
