Favorite anime of today

I haven't had a good anime series to watch in quite a while, so I'm hoping for your suggestions on any good ones out there. Last series' that I watched were: Tokyo Majin, GunXSword, Kaze no Stigma, and Peacemaker.

So I was hoping you guys would give me some ideas on what to watch, because I'm looking for a new series. Rental Magica and Shakugan no Shana come out every week, and I'm downloading Fate/Stay Night, but I'd like to know some others.

Shingetsutan Tsukihime is really good and from Type-Moon like Fate-stay night.
If you can try out Rurouni Kenshin it's a little older but really good :beautifu2:
Why not trying out Heroic Age too.

Code GEASS of course.
But it all depend on what kind of serie you'd like to see next and if you'd like to watch short series of little eps or long one.
But at least you should try Code GEASS and Tsukihime, they are really really ones.

Though not new the Berserk anime was amazing but it is really dark and not for all audiences and hopefully the will make the Berserk Ultimate series which goes along with the manga where the series left off.

My personal favourites are Claymore, Over Drive and Zero no Tsukaima. Unfortunately, there's only one group of fansubbers for Over Drive and it comes out once a month or sometimes even longer > _ <.

Some good ones are zero no tsukaima, hayate no gotoku and nodame cantabile. These are some of my favourites.

MOYASHIMON FTW. This year I really dug that and Seirei no Moribito, Dennou Coil, and Minami-ke. Tekkon Kinkreet was a cool film though it goes on a weird tangent near the end.

Dragonaut: The Resonance is laughably bad, but the one thing that keeps me coming back is there's always going to be something unexpected in the next ep.

Watched Blue Sub no.6 and Last Exile again this week. Both were really good for me, I recommend the latter.

Right now I'm DYING to see Genius Party by Studio 4C come out on DVD someday.

Why not try school rumble both the 1st and 2nd season, its funny as hell and the story... you'll get what I mean when you try watching a few episodes. For action how about trying d.gray-man its already in the second season and its starting to get good too. Oh and I also recommend slayers, its kinda old but I still love it!:ff10-03:

Flame of Recca is pretty good for a lil' shōnen fix. Quite old now but you should be able to find a torrent about.

In order (only ongoing anime)
1st: Clannad (Uncontested since minami-ke ended)
2nd: Kaiji
3rd: Rosario + Vampire (Loved these 2 episodes)
4th: Spyce and Wolf (Don't know why, but i really enjoyed the first episode)
5th: They are my noble masters. Even if it was a copy to Hayate's first episode, it looks really promising.
6th: Kekkaishi
7th: Naruto Shippuden
8th: Bleach
9th: Shakugan no Shana Second. Had the potential to be in the top 3... but it was completly wasted with stupid teenage love episodes.
10th: H2O Footprints in the sand. Looks better than i though it would be.
11th: Ayakashi. Bad animation. Unoriginal idea. But at least it was entertaining.

ROD is good stuff all around, I had a friend show it to me in my first year at my new college, and I loved it. I even bough the OVA DVD at a con, just to have a DVD of it, even though I could always download it.
