Saint Seiya was the first anime I watched. The show is really awesome.
The first time I saw this show I was at least 10 years old, in Latin America completely uncensored and they used to show it after school.
I even had the toys.

I wish they would release the rest of this series in the US. It's stops right dead center of the gold cloth series. I know their is lots more to this series. I've heard of the Poseidon and Hades series. I would love to see them.

A damn shame , Ive been looking forever for the completion of the series, i watched it as a teen in Venezuela, The first series anime i ever watched religiously, on after school, every day along with SamuraiX (Rurouni Kenshin) but for some reason Airing of the series came to a halt during the valhalla knights crystal armor chapter, 9 years later still cant find it in spanish or with english subs :p!ssedmode: truly a source of anger in my life, (on a side note... Cartoon Network FTL, how DARE they destroy such a great anime with their bloodless shennanigans....:damn: )
Any way, you havent seen it, DO SO. Great story funny animations for super moves, all the great over the top anime crazyness )even the dragonball z style suspense endings for each episode, for better or worse i guess. Old School. Better than Fresh out of the oven Chocolate chip cookies.
Watch it or live a life of regret. Oh, and if anyone can point me in the right direction for anything past the gold armor chapters uncensored and in either spanish or subbed it would be awsome. Peace.:JFBQ00214070517A:

running away from the class just to watch the series....

I heard the they make the new sequel... and all has the gold armor like Seiya, Ikki, Shun, Ryu and Yoga...

I watched it religious when i was 6 years old... wow nostagic...
Hell yeah here [Brazil] Still pass in the open TV XD
Every person in my generation watched... and still watch lol

And yes I heard about the Hades Series but i don't if they all have gold armor >.>;

There is in manga the Gold episode that happens befor Seya.

This is my favourite series since I was little </33 It's such a shame it wasn't popular in japan :/ This meant that it was on hold for like 12 years and when they finally decided to finish it they did such a poor work with it >.<

For those who said they haven't seen the complete series you can find it in the NM-Tube section complete uploaded by Phantasmagoria.

Next from SS is Lost Canvas... based on the manga that tells the story of the previous Holy War, 250 years before the original series.

Saint Seiya The Lost Canvas Anime Trailer leaked

Well It seems the wait is almost over for the release of the Saint Seiya: the Lost Canvas Anime. A full trailer has been uploaded to the internet. The Trailer Originated from the TAF 2009 in japan. Also the Release date for the 1st DVD and Blu-ray disc will be june 24th. The trailer is about 5 minutes long and features the opening video and ending song ( i posted it in my previous post)
