@G: I have a copied version of the game, so I just use hamachi to connect to my friend so I can play against him. And I can't go on it too much or it'll use to much internet. I'll see if I can go to an internet cafe soon, that way we can play and get much better ping.

hunnie
12-19-2009, 06:36 AM

i'm in no condition to charm anyone. it would be rude to go and bore her to death, no?
so i postponed. it's not like today's the last day on earth.
hunni: Oh, I see! I have to go to church on Sundays since the services are only on that day, and my parents come here every Sunday and I go with them. ^^
Miz: Speaking of Australia, my folks and I will be there for a week or two next April after my college graduation. ^^
Mizaku
12-19-2009, 06:39 AM
@hunni: *hugs* Apparently Adelaide is the best place for scholarship, or so I heard. Alot of japanese students come over to Adelaide to learn english.

12-19-2009, 06:49 AM
i am going to sydney
Miz, hunni: My parents of course want to go to Sydney, but they're still deciding where exactly in Australia. However, my mom's thinking of Queensland.
Mizaku
12-19-2009, 06:51 AM
Everyone is coming down to Australia. lol. Nothing interesting down here.
@alua: The best place to go would be Melbourne. I want to move there when i'm older.
hunnie
12-19-2009, 06:54 AM
@Alua: go Queensland!!! warner bro's theme park is there^ ^ and i have an aunt live thr(she'a a pr) aust is the only country that stil has marsupial animals^ ^
@mimi chan: nah~ i want to live thr forever...
pico7777
12-19-2009, 06:57 AM
i have been to warner bro's theme park its a cool theme park and mizaku where in oz are you?
hunni: I also have a friend who lives in Queensland, and my dad also says that that particular area is nice (last time he was in Australia was in 1986...and my older brother wasn't even born then!). But the place I wanna live in forever is Greece. ^^
Miz: Well, a lot of people have said that Australia is nice. :)
Dr. Shaneman
12-19-2009, 07:04 AM
*shivers* @_@
Mizaku
12-19-2009, 07:07 AM
@pico: Adelaide.
@alua: Not saying it isn't nice, i'm glad I live in Australia, since it's a safe and nice place to live. What I mean't was that there isn't alot to do, except for the theme parks, which is boring now since i've been there 3 times now. Still, it's a good place to live.
hunnie
12-19-2009, 07:10 AM
@alua: mimi chan is living in the place i want to live~~~ but i know it's damn hot in summer>.< and i cant really stand hot weather....u can go to queensland then go to oth state for fun^ ^ and i do want to hug the marsupial animals....
Mizaku
12-19-2009, 07:14 AM
@hunni: Queensland is one the worst places to go if you hate the hot weather, it's horrible up there. If you like animals, then come to Adelaide and you can come and see the pandas. We just got two pandas from china not long ago, though I haven't gone to see them yet. I want to though.
hunnie
12-19-2009, 07:17 AM
mimi chan... adelaide is hot too.... i just want to go& visit the theme park...koala is cute^ ^ but it's not cute when they hold on to u.....
pico7777
12-19-2009, 07:18 AM
Adelaide seems like a nice place
Miz: Oh, I see. I guess I can only be in Australia as a tourist, but never as a young resident and worker, considering the fact that I have to do a lot of different things to keep myself sane.
hunni: I hate hot weather, and my aunt who worked in Australia for 15 years said that summers are absolutely dreadful.
hunnie
12-19-2009, 07:23 AM
@pico: adelaide is a nice place^ ^
@alua: depends... not all part of aust is hot.... but some places might face water shortage...
Mizaku
12-19-2009, 07:27 AM
@pico: The problem with Adelaide, is that there is nothing to do. There's like 1 anime store, that's it. Though it's easy to know where you're going, the way it's set up. Very hard to get lost once you know your way around.
pico7777
12-19-2009, 07:29 AM
sounds like Christchurch but there is no anime store all we have is a comic store and a few game stores that sell anime
hunnie
12-19-2009, 07:30 AM
@pico: i agree v mimi chan.... the town is a town designed by engineers^ ^ frm one end of town to the other is just within 20 mins...and i felt lucky.... my town has many store selling anime... one store selling anime merchandise... quite a few... ard 5 or 6 shops selling figures and so on
mimi chan... is there many korean thr?? <3
Mizaku
12-19-2009, 07:33 AM
@hunni: I'm not sure, I can't tell the difference between a korean and any other east asian. If you mean east asian people, then yes there are alot of them. There is also a chinatown in the city, were alot of asian people go.
Avital

I would like to trade weather XD
We have snow and like -5 degress celsius or something like that *sigh*
:'D
Neh neh, how are you all? ^_^
hunnie
12-19-2009, 07:37 AM
@mimi chan: awww... TnT nvm that... i've been mistaken as a korean before too... although i'm not one.....*___* but i do want to go to the beach...
mina chan~~*huggles*
hunni: If you want Koreans, come to my country. In every corner you look there are at least 3 or 4 here.
pico7777
12-19-2009, 07:39 AM
hello mina that weather sounds nice
Avital
12-19-2009, 07:42 AM

Oh, I like snow, pico ^_^
But, it's so coooold here *shivers*
@.@
Mizaku
12-19-2009, 07:44 AM
@mina: Hey there! How are you? And I would be glad to trade weathers with you. ^_^
@hunni: I hate when people think someone is from a certain country, just by their looks. My school got a new kid from Korea and everyone just assumed he was from Japan. =/
Avital
12-19-2009, 07:45 AM
Hii thar Miz-kun ^_^
And, I'm fine, thank you ~ got my christmas break yesterday, soo :D
hunnie
12-19-2009, 07:51 AM
mi mi chan... just yesterday when i attend an event host by oth church... thr's ppl asking my fren whether i'm from oth country... nah... it's a korean who asked me whether i'm one or not because he said i looks like one... and a girl i just met in rotary club ask the same thing(she's a msian)... the funny thing is... she said i could go and learn some korean to cheat others by telling them i'm one... TnT but the truth is... i dont look really like koreans..
@alua: thr's many korean here too^ ^ O.O i would love to go beijing... thr's a LOT of koreans there & they can speak fluent chinese^ ^
Maria Callas - Ave Maria di Schubert - Musica - Libero Video (http://video.libero.it/app/play/?id=34a875ac914504a06321708f76040ab4)
hunnie
12-19-2009, 07:56 AM
hey... david archuleta release a xmas album... it's quite nice^ ^
@ahra: that song's the same as beethoven's ave maria... 100% the same...even the women's voice
hunni: Five years ago, there were no Koreans in sight here in my country. Now, there are restaurants, spas, and shops that cater to all things Korean. There is now a large Korean population in our church. We now have at least 8 Korean neighbors in our subdivision! XD Some people in my country fear that we are being overrun...
ahra: I like Christmas jazz tunes, orchestra pieces, or by sopranos. I'm not really into those sung by modern pop artists.
hunnie
12-19-2009, 08:05 AM
@alua: O.O that much??? lol~ i know thr's many koreans here live in my country more than 7 yrs...and most of them go for international sch...my frens told me that lodge international consists of 50% korean....thr's a lot of mix in lodge international... i know quite a few thr.. >.< i'm easily attracted by koreans and i dont really know the reasons.... i love japanese food more and korean fruit doenst really suits my taste since most of it r spicy....
hunni: no, schubert's version is made for some german translation of a poem. salutatio angelica, or the sacred music, is written by gounod over one of bach's preludes. beethoven's piece is nothing like those. most classical composers have written a piece called ave maria at some point. and please, maria callas' voice is unique.
alua: :)
hunni: Believe me, everything in our country has been supersaturated with all things Korean. It's not that I don't like them, but our dying culture is slowly being replaced by them since my people have only revived "National Pride" early this year after our country's master rapper and modern patriot Francis Magalona died from cancer. Some subdivisions and villages in my country have banned Korean residents because landlords have complained that Koreans wreck the homes they rent once they have a falling out with these landlords.
ahra: What's with that smile? XD
hunnie
12-19-2009, 08:16 AM
@ahra: but it's the same!!! O.O and i dont know why!!! i dwnloaded it like mths ago... it's under the name beethoven... and it sounds 100% the same... the voice and everything...
@alua: O.O oh my gosh... O.O the koreans here r vry polite tho.... and we have no trouble v them.....
'twas merely a reply to what you said about jazz and sopranos. anyway, i had nothing to add so i smiled.
hunni: then the title of that mp3 is wrong. the song is definetly schubert's and the voice is maria callas.
hunnie
12-19-2009, 08:18 AM
O.O then i'm going to change the name now^ ^ thanks~~
hunni: Yep...I guess it's because most people in my country are pushovers to these guys, they tend to become jerks. You guys are lucky because the Korean population there are nice. Half of those here aren't nice. Even my mom doesn't like their Korean clients in the bank because they complain a lot even when she's already helping them and explaining how things are supposed to work.
ahra: Oh, I see...^^
hunnie
12-19-2009, 08:31 AM
@alua: i dont know bou the other state but my state is comparatively peaceful one as compared to the oths... and many welcome them & treat them nicely... i suppose it's the environment.... well... thr's good& bad chinese too.. same applied to koreans and oth races all over the world... humans r not perfect ne? ^ ^
hunni: Yes, we're all not perfect, and it's true that it depends on the environment. I interact with other races too since our university caters to international students as well. Plus, my dad takes me to Chinatown during my summer vacations to buy hopia. I like the Chinese people in our Chinatown.
there's no chinatown here.
ahra: Oh, that sucks. I like the Chinatown here because I always get to eat kikiam and hopia in big servings! Plus, I can get fabrics cheap there rather than from the mall.
hunnie
12-19-2009, 08:41 AM
some chinese r rude(like the students in my previous sec sch) but some r not... my frens r all vry sweet... althou they have contaminated mind.... and they contaminate mine too>.< alua chan bcareful tho... ask whr the fabric from 1st..
hm. there are specialized fabric stores here. in malls - only high end brands and stuff.
where are you two from anyway?
hunnie
12-19-2009, 08:48 AM
msia... alua frm philipines
i wanna visit the whole world during my lifetime. hope it will be possible...
hunni: My dad wanders into Chinatown to eat Chinese food or buy marijuana back when he was in college, so basically he's the one who teaches me the ropes in purchasing from Chinese vendors. So I ask where the fabrics are from before I but them. ^^ My dad doesn't like the Chinese from Hong Kong (he's traveled there around 20 times in his lifetime). And I agree. Most of them aren't nice at all.
ahra: I live in the Philippines. :)
hunnie
12-19-2009, 08:52 AM
@ahra: i just realize thr's this lyrics i think frm the song..
AVE MARIA - BEETHOVEN
--------------------------------------------
ORIGINAL
-----------------
Ave Maria! Jungfrau mild,
Erh鰎e einer Jungfrau Flehen,
Aus diesem Felsen starr und wild
Soll mein Gebet zu dir hinwehen.
Wir schlafen sicher bis zum Morgen,
Ob Menschen noch so grausam sind.
O Jungfrau, sieh der Jungfrau Sorgen,
O Mutter, h鰎 ein bittend Kind!
Ave Maria!
Ave Maria! Unbefleckt!
Da uns dein heil'ger Trost anweht;
Der Jungfrau wolle hold dich neigen,
Dem Kind, das f黵 den Vater fleht.
Ave Maria!
TRANSLATION
-------------------------
Ave Maria! maiden mild!
Listen to a maiden's prayer!
Thou canst hear though from the wild,
Thou canst save amid despair.
Safe may we sleep beneath thy care,
Though banish'd, outcast and reviled -
Maiden! hear a maiden's prayer;
Mother, hear a suppliant child!
Ave Maria!
Ave Maria! undefiled!
The flinty couch we now must share
Shall seem this down of eider piled,
If thy protection hover there.
The murky cavern's heavy air
Shall breathe of balm if thou hast smiled;
Then, Maiden! hear a maiden's prayer;
Mother, list a suppliant child!
Ave Maria!
Ave Maria! stainless styled!
Foul demons of the earth and air,
From this their wonted haunt exiled,
Shall flee before thy presence fair.
We bow us to our lot of care,
Beneath thy guidance reconciled;
Hear for a maid a maiden's prayer,
And for a father hear a child!
Ave Maria!
@alua: depends^ ^ not many hong kong ppl r badass... only most of the one that open the fd shop....
hunni: those are, indeed. but it's not written by beethoven, as far as i know.
anyway, here you go, the latin one by gounod: MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=V3TSFVR0)
the performance is quite enjoyable.
hunni: I suppose so...but based on my personal experience there, I think the only nice and amiable person there towards us was our tour guide Eric...plus the salesgirls at Esprit and the lady at the restaurant we had our last breakfast at.
Mizaku
12-19-2009, 08:59 AM
What is there to do in Hong Kong?
Miz: SHOPPING. Hong Kong is like a humongous shopping mall, based on my experience.
hunnie
12-19-2009, 09:03 AM
mimi chan*glomp* we're talking bou gd & bad ppl^ ^
@alua: wait til u met Singaporean.... and the west malaysian... O.O culture shock... lol~ but still... there are many good ppl too^ ^
Mizaku
12-19-2009, 09:04 AM
@alua: I heard alot of people there speak english. Is that true?
Miz: Yes, it's true. My dad's boss is Chinese and from Hong Kong, and he can speak fluently. But don't expect that everyone can speak English, because there's still a portion that do not.
hunni: No offense to Singaporeans here, but my dad says that they feel that they're superior to other Asian people. He doesn't like them.
hunnie
12-19-2009, 09:19 AM
@alua: some singaporeans hate malaysians.... some spore chinese hate msian chinese too..>.< but thr's must be a reason behind it... well... singapore has many banana( chinese but cant read or write chinese)... now malyasia has more& more banana too.....
hunni: Oh, I see. Chinese people in my country, though they've adapted our language and form of writing, make it a point to still know how to read, speak, and write in Chinese. It's part of the curriculum of their children in school, and it's also taught at home.
ahra: Very true.
hunnie
12-19-2009, 09:22 AM
lol~~ ahra... the latin ver is not as nice...
hm. i like the latin one more. but of well. i'm more into low voices than high ones.

hunnie
12-19-2009, 09:42 AM
alua: TnT chinese language drop frm a core sub into an optional sub TnT and the score is getting higher and higher every yr... many chinese drop chinese language because of that... it's very hard... even i always got an B3 (score: a1 a2 b3 b4 c4 c5 d6 &so on) in sch exams(and my chinese teacher's vry strict... i can get an a2 for it if oth chinese teacher mark) but in the real public exam i got an C5 orz (TnT) it spoils my overall results... the rest is b3 and As....
like what my chinese teacher said... they're eliminating it slowly(bcs if vry few students r taking.. they'll remove it.like my teacher said... using a small fire to cook the frog)
@ahra: diff ppl has diff interest then^ ^mayb i'm used to the song ord...
mimi chan gd night& sweet dreams:em27:
but it's the differences that make this world enjoyable. should we all be the same, imagine how boring it would be...
hunnie
12-19-2009, 09:49 AM

i off to tune my instruments
hunni: I see...that does suck. Difficult subject plus strict teachers? Not good bedfellows. But yours is to decide whether to eliminate the subject, am I correct? In Nursing though, difficult subjects plus strict teachers? You're on your own if you fail. You take the course again. Fortunately for some, the last remaining strict teacher we have died last October...so everybody gets a free pass to graduation so it seems.
Miz: G'night! *hugs*

@alua : lucky u^ ^ my chinese basic is quite good until when i encounter a teacher who always mislead student when i'm 15 yrs old( the yr i take pmr... a public exam)... orz she has totally broke my basic's pillar.... i face many grammar problems(problems in identifying sentence structure asking which one is the main part of sentence... which one is the one that strengthens the description& so on..)and we learn the old chinese poems, writings and so on..we need to memorize which dynasty it's frm.. frm wwhich bk which chap and who's the one who write and the story behinds it...and it's accumulative for 7 yrs straight...of course i x rmb all>.<... that's the difficult part..since chinese has lots of word that has the same pronunciation but different meaning... in the olden days... they may use the words that sounds the same but different meaning and we need to explain what that passage means.. we need to memorize many things... esp words used and the meaning... many students fail to translate it well.. some even translate the wrong thg... but i dont know why i got an A for it... an A in pmr but c5 in spm(public exam taken when i'm 17) TnT if i didnt take chinese for spm... i'll have to take account... and i loath it...
my fren who got an a2 always laugh at my chinese when i use the wrong word(& it sounds vry wrong) when i'm not thinking properly...but her eng is not as good... so i can make fun of her sometimes....
Shane: If it's an allergy, use this! ^^ *gives diphenydramine*
hunni: I'm glad to be a Filipino...I dun have to learn so much relating to our language in comparison. Although we had to take subjects for that from 1st Grade to HS Senior Year just like English classes. It's easy to take Tagalog subjects since we don't use different forms of writing, and basically, a Filipino child learns only English and Tagalog once they know how to speak.

Heh it started off kinda slow but it picked up pace once some more people got there. Booze tends to bring people together xD
There was this huge tv playing music videos and what not that was pretty sweet O.O
Besides that is was your average beer, liquor, cigs, and dancing party ^^
People started to leave around...3 er 4? I didn't cuz I wasn't exactly in any condition to drive..let alone walk to my car :XD: So I crashed there, I was told that I was an obstacle to the clean up cause they couldn't get me to wake up and move :P
Idk then I woke up around 11 on a mattress on the floor..don't quite remember how I got there....tis the season!!

@ahra: why? you can sleep longer and recover from the stress you had in your work. I like them :D besides, you have more time to meet with friends! isn't that a good thing?
@whaevr: well, I just don't like it. this senseless drinking just to get drunk? I mean, you can have fun without alcohol too! I like parties, just not this niveau of parties :/ maybe it wasn't as bad as I now think it was, please don't misunderstand xD

@tsuki At the parties I go to I usually do the DJing so I dont drink a lot but I get buzzed while I spin.
@whaevr ha dang! Thats pretty crazy. Just be safe ^^

@whavr: I get what you mean^^ but I just don't agree with you there. sounds like you're too shy and boring without alcohol :P besides, you can't always get drunk if you want to have fun xD
@ahra: oh, alright. you sounded a little down, so I wondered :/ I'm fine thanks. nope, no vacation yet. monday will be my last day -.-

O.O Well not really..wouldn't the people that not want to party be the shy/boring ones? And I understand that, I don't live in a blur of parties xD I do lots of other fun things snowboarding, snowmobiling, sports, etc I have fun without it...I'm not boring/shy!! T.T

@tsuki Its awesome to tell you the truth. I already really enjoy what I play, and dance while doing my set. When I get a little buzzed I tend to get even more into it. What is really funny is after dancing for four hours the alcohol usually is out of my system and I fall into a wonderful sleep.

@whaevr: that almost sounds like shy people are bad xD I AM shy, you know? am I boring? I think not. I have lots of fun, even though I don't go to parties very often. oh, well... v_v
@sugar: that sounds like your calling^^ happy to hear you found a work in which you can have so much fun! I wish more DJs here would be like this. they just play random (bad) music and don't move an inch while playing... xP

@tsuki haha I invite people to come dance with me behind my set up. Its a blast plus it helps get my name out there, A lot of girls remember dancing with the DJ at that "one party" and they ask who I am and then hire me for the night ha. Never a dull moment!

Well you made it sound like I'm some person that doesn't have any friends/anything to do unless I'm drunk T.T
Thats why I responded like that..

@whaevr: really, I did? I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that. I don't know you well enough to say that :P I just don't like people who just get drunk because they think it's fun and in to do so, to get accepted or something. if you qualify for this or not, I can't say. although I'm positive you're not :3 sorry, again!

@sugar: that's america, right? xD too bad. you should give courses on how to be a great DJ overseas! I bet you could make a decent amount of money, giving the poor condition of our DJs here :D
is it just a hobby or your fulltime job?
docbrownsugar
12-19-2009, 02:41 PM
tsuki: just a hobby. I really enjoy just playing for the rush of it. If people pay me thats fine, but I never charge for a party. ha Yeah thats in America. I really want to go overseas and play and watch people to learn more about others techniques. Its also great to hear what others are mixing now.
(also this is my 100th post ^^)
