You should probably rent it first from the movie store or game store whatever. That way you can see for yourself if it's a good game or not
i dnt know your taste in games, but to me and most of my friends its awesome

Its not as good as it should have been, but deserves a sequel. I would wait till its cheaper - not worth paying full price with all the good games on the 360.

Personally it was worth the $60. The gameplay is fun, the graphics is off very good quality, and I have almost the same freedom I get in GTA games. That's my opinion on the game.

My buddy has it and it looks pretty sick... although what you're doing most of the time is running around. Assassinations, by far the best part of the game, make up a relatively small portion of the actual time spent playing.

This is an absolutely amazing game! There hasn't been such an open ended game set in the medieval time period for a while and I just love everything you can do.

It's certainly an amazing game, with free-roaming similar to Jak and Daxter (you can go ANYWHERE at ANYTIME, as long as you've opened up the location), and free-running that nothing comes even close to. The combat, once you figure it out, is almost a joy, and entirely worth slaughtering a random civilian just for the sake of ramming your knife into a guard or two's skulls. While not excessively complicated, it requires a certain finesse to truly master, though button-mashing will work in some cases. For a real treat, equip the hidden blade in open combat, and perform counter-attacks (just make sure not to try this before you've regained the counter ability).
All of that said: This game is not worth buying in my opinion, unless you want to get all of the achievements via multiple playthroughs. Aside from the flag-gathering, and some of the more enjoyable missions, there's little to no replay value, in part due to Ubisoft's incredibly annoying habit of NEVER letting their players skip cutscenes. We couldn't in any of the Prince of Persia games; we can't in this game. While the cutscenes are made more interesting by the ability to occasionally change the view (and get an achievement for doing so), they're not worth viewing multiple times within a few weeks, and can even get tedious on occassion.
RENT IT, AT THE VERY LEAST.

I love Assassin's Creed but alot of people seem to hate it though.

its a bit of both, you are sometimes in a crowd but you blend in. if you act like an ass and push people around and stuff everyone starts staring at you and the guards get suspicious of you and if they catch on, they attack.

I personally don't own the game myself, but I will in a few weeks. My friend has it though. He said the game at first was really cool and he would play it 24/7 a bit of an over exaggeration I know, but going back to the point he got bored of it after a few days. I asked him why he got bored of it and he said the game was too "repetitive." So I guess the only reason why I want it is because it's a game to add to my collection and pull it out everyonce in a while to play.

I would recommend it if your computer can run it on high or medium quality, if it can't i wouldnt recommend it.

Unfortunately, it is true that the game gets repetitive after a while.
But all in all, it's still a kick-*ss game. The Templars have an awesome enemy in your character.

Well i have it and i must say that the graphics quality is superb :)
BUT, the only problem i have with it is - you can end up not knowing what to do next,
too much walkin for me too :P lol
that may just be me =_=" so don't criticize me
i much prefer devil may cry 4 - best game i've played in a long time ^_^
but o well, i think assassins creed is worth a rental first :)

Like any game, I either get a demo or rent it to get a feel of what it's like.
As for assassins creed, it's definatley worth trying, and maybe even buying. But it's only for those who like a stealth and hand to hand combat style game.
Hope this helps.
